From the Queen Convention facebook page:
Some exciting news for you. Queens Archivist Greg Brooks will be attending this years convention and he has been given permission by Jim Beach and the band to play exclusively new music from the forthcoming Bohemian Rhapsody Official Soundtrack album. Also he will be digging into the vaults to reveal some JAZZ outtakes as we celebrate the albums 40th. Please note we will be extra vigilante to ensure no recordings are made and appreciate your understandings. Some treats in store for the conventioneers.
So they're 1 for 3. They released NOTW outtakes, but they charge people to hear the ones from Jazz and Innuendo once.
QPL - put out the damn anthology before everyone who cares is dead !

There's probably a whole bunch of people who dress like the Breakthru train at home too. Worshippers. Reminds me of Trump fans hopping aboard the Trump train.

They released fake NOTW outtakes. Apart from that, I totally agree.

Believe me, you don't want to attend. People dressed up like the Breakthru train most of the time can't keep their fucking mouth shut when new music is being played.
LOL, i never attended the Dutch one either. :D Precisely because of those people. The level of fandom that is just a bit too much...like Trekkies and Harry Potheads. :D
I attended the convention once in early 2000. Was the worst queen related experience I had. Payed a lot of money for a fairly chaotic and depressed day. And indeed a lot trekkies and harry potheads around. Fat Women above 50 and 60 dressing up in tiny leather skirts with high heels etc. The atmosphere was really strange... the curse that morphed these people out of reality and dressing and behaving like a bunch of retards stays with me till today....

At the 1995 convention I remember seeing someone dressed as the monster thingy from the cover of IGSM. Took ages for the guy to get through the crowd to the stage. He was awarded first prize before he made it!

The products/memorabilia of the 40th anniversary of Jazz has been released on queenonline.com.
Nice to have the picture disc with the white rim and black bicyvles back for an affordable price, but otherwise it's pretty lame.
Too bad they haven't decided to release a Jazz box :-( But well, what can you expect from Queen Productions?
