Uh, you can’t like something better live if you didn’t see it live!

Like you saying Q+AL is better than Q+PR even though you haven't seen Q+PR live. See you work things out n that head of yours.
Yes, I’m so glad they are featuring Lucy which should be a single because of Brian’s great riffing on it.
I missed the opening and wish there would be a video of it.
Also, Brian tweeted this was the best ever audience participation in Love Of My Life.

Icy, why can't someone here enjoy a picture of Brian.? This forum is for fan girling (at least it is not Adam, right?). Plenty of people are fangirling in the remarks on the pic, are they all idiots also?. Of course you have to bring in the business of sexy, good looking Adam and confront Caroline Why do you do that.? Maybe because Adam is so much better looking than Freddie? Otherwise I don't get your obsession with that? You always have to bring it up. If you don't understand that part of the draw for an entertainer, singer, is how they look, then you are very naive. Women of all ages can see a nice looking man and say that he is hot. It is not lusting or any of the nonsense you or runner talk about, but a simple recognition of the fact. I am a lady (rockchick -not a guy) and dreamy guys are often more popular just because of looks. They certainly don't hurt. As soon as I saw Brian in that magnificent coat (with the red trim that matched Adam's red coat), I thought how adorable he still is. Unbelievable that at his age he is still so cool and darling! What is wrong with that? I also loved his guitar playing in Lucy, a perfect song for the Show!
Erm, this forum isn't for fan girling. Where ever did you come up with that? I'm sure the pics of AL will come along soon enough so sweetcaroline/CNB can lust over them.
You really want to go there that you think AL is more good looking than Freddie? And on a Queen board no less? Good grief. Why the hell is looks so important tour and sweetcaroline? That is very vain how much stock you put into it.
I swear I read what is posted about AL and wonder if it's a few years back when Justin Bieber made it big by the lusting some do for Lambert. Why not take that to AL's own boards?

Icy, I don't need to know the history of Paul Rodgers or Queen to enjoy the music. Why would that cause me to like a certain piece of music more? That has nothing to do with my enjoyment of the music and for a lot of you, knowing too much, keeps you from enjoying the here and now. I don't care if Paul is of the same generation, a rock legend, or whatever, but he doesn't fit with Queen musically, from a performance aspect or with his voice. He is a dud to me on every level. The life, the whimsy, the magic was sucked out of a Queen performance when he was part of the band. I think Adam fits like a glove and fills the bill in all three categories listed above. He was magnificent today as was the band. I listened to the stream and even though I was not there, I could feel the vibe and the energy of the crowd was amazing. Dave on QOL (who has been to hundreds of QAL concerts) was there and he said this concert was the best received QAL concert so far and he really isn't too fond of Adam.
I thought the set list was great, with changes, which most of you are always lamenting about. I think singing WWTLF and TSMGO and a couple of other really high key songs is a little much, but we will see in subsequent shows. I loved the beginning and woudln't have changed a thing. I thought WWTLF was phenomenal and one of his best. It is my fav song from him probably because I am a classical and opera fan and this showcases that aspect of his voice. I also thought Lucy was great with Brian riffing throughout and fit in with the Queen vibe. So I disagree there, too, runner.
I don't appreciate the name calling, the insinuations and the general nasty tone of your remarks, runner. I wish there was a way to ban you from here because you bring nothing to the discussion.
If you can't appreciate the singing, the level of the musicianship and the wonderful show QAL puts on there is something wrong with your ears. I think there is also something wrong with your brain to write the garbage you do and your your manners, of which you have NONE!!
Open your eyes. And I don't just mean based on how someone looks.
For me, I liked Q+PR alot more and I still do more than Q+AL. Personal choice based on alot of things.
A few songs that I was hoping would have returned to the set list. Not performed. I wouldn't exactly put Tear It Up as the heaviest Queen song, although that was a good surprise...and I hope it stays. I was hoping for another Queen song instead of an AL solo song.
Very werid placement of RGG and TSMGO. I don't think that flowed well.

Snifflese what the heck are you smoking? Lamebords music has sth in common with Queens music???? I never thought of Queen as a lame Eurodance bullshit combo cause thats what lamefarts music is: Annoying, lame, boring manufactured like the tool himself.
The BC songs were the highlight of the QPR tour. I doubt Two Fux was the highlight of the QAL tour cause everyone hates this song as it is one of the worst songs ever written (not even by the goat himself as he cannot even write a shit song like this). They are touring this lame nostalgia show for way too long but as long as the $$ roll in they dont care. In Cologne tickets were priced for 35 € as they did not sell at all. Berlin the same. Hamburg as well. Every categaorxy widely available. People start to think that this shit show is not worth 120 Euro. They wont even do concerts in France as the French hate QAL ( rightly so).
They have gone past the embarrassment point for years now. A sad bad cover band including some ex Queen members.
If tickets aren't selling too well over there, here's a thought, why don't you go and get one of those discounted ones and actually give the show a chance, be open-minded. Even if you still hate Adam you will at least get to see Roger & Brian up close just once before they finally stop touring.
He wouldn‘t see them up close, because these tickets were for seats in the nosebleed section. The 35€-Tickets were only sold in a special sale-day by LiveNation. And they sold these tickets for all of their concerts, not just Queen.
The concerts in Germany are still far from being sold out though. But the good seats are mostly gone. Only a few, that pop up again for some reasons. Standing tickets are also sold out in Cologne.

Yeah I knew about the LiveNation promo, they've been reducing tickets for all their shows over the last few days. I think touring so soon after the last one, some places will struggle to fill the venues but a lot of places have sold well, the first two London shows sold out in seconds except for one or two solo seats. Think the third one was mostly sold out except for a few nosebleeds and some VIP one's. Sounds like the Lisbon show was well received from comments I've been seeing.
It looked like most of the seats were filled in Lisbon.
