Yeah...It wasn't looking good for those first few shows with hundreds and hundreds of empty seats. Hopefully those last three sellouts helped to make up for it and it ended up being a profitable venture.
The attendance for most of the residency, though...yeesh.

Some really good numbers.
Don't know where you saw the numbers, but these are the ones from several sites. There were a few less in the beginning, but not many. Once people find out about how awesome the concert is, they come out in droves. A 96% sell out for the 10 days is nothing short of amazing, esp. after all the negative comments here about them bombing! I am not sure how much better they could have done!

Anything else you would like to pull out that I have said? I could find so many really mean, nasty insidious things you say, but what a major waste of time. As far as seeking out your posts, when I say I have read you for so many years, it is only because I have read on QOL for many years and no one can overlook your posts, nor the ones on here. I certainly couldn't overlook them, but definitely was not out to read your stuff particularly. It, unfortunately happens to be there and there is always such a vicious streak in there, that I couldn't overlook it. It is Christmas weekend, go watch a good movie and quit finding posts. My point was this is QAL and not only Freddie can be discussed here and if we say something positive about Adam, Debbie Downer doesn't have to give us grief about it. As Brancelli said, Adam is certainly one of the 5 best singers in the world right now or at least in the discussion, so we aren't hyping him. I don't care if you like him or not, that is your business but quit telling us why we shouldn't. I don't like you and I don't want your focus on me. Just leave me be at this point. I find this whole situation with you creepy and tedious. Sympathy only goes so far and you are over the line in that regard.

The fact Brancelli was more than kind enough to be kind to me after his own loss, is a credit to him.

This is a Q+AL thread so I think anyone should be allowed to post things about Q+AL.
Freddie is the best of all time but AL is the best singer who's ever tried singing a Queen song when it comes to all different areas - ability, theatrically, presence, etc. It's an amazing to see someone sing and perform a Queen song for those unfortunate to see Freddie live in concert - I'm way too young to have seen him live. It seems a shame that people on here disrespect that fact to people in my generation.
It just seems stupid that people who claim they don't like Q+AL mostly write on this section rather than the other sections of the site for Queen. You wouldn't want people to be negative all the time about Queen on the "General" or "Serious" sections so why do it on here.
I scan through these pages and it seems to be full of people insulting each other. I don't understand why people can't just keep quiet if they see something they don't appreciate - it can really upset people and it simply won't happen if people didn't moan or complain at the actions of someone.
I'm saying this when there is a extremely close family member is ill in hospital and I'm going on here to lift my spirits. I'm sorry about your family member inumber the hospital.
I do like some things about Q+AL, especially a couple of songs in particular, but that's not enough for two people here.
There's things I dislike, and I always have, the coronet more than anything.
Either way, I say how I feel.
Its been said that someone here hates me, that I'm like Hitler and the Gestapo...by a Glambert. More than once. So, there is never any need to go that far, but one person has. Another person doesn't like me, see above. Those two glamberts are quite vocal about taking things way too far. But I'm sure they will say Queen fans here aren't so nice, and Queen fans wanted Brian Roger and John to die the very day Freddie died.
