*** NOTE ***
The "Unusual Collection" became the "Unusual Anthology". Please go to http://www.queenzone.com/forums/1509804/golden-salmons-unusual-anthology.aspx for the updated volume. Thanks!
This is a one-off! I had this idea a few weeks after the first five volumes. Over the years, I’ve ignored some material that I wasn’t too enthused about, namely Queen members’ collaborations with other artists. However, there’s some genuinely good and interesting work put into many tracks that deserve more attention. And more specifically, there are many Queen tracks played by both Queen members and other musicians, some of which have been recorded in the studio and others released as live tracks. This volume will focus exactly on that.
Although this volume is pretty comprehensive (barring some better and more complete sources), a few tracks have been deliberately left out: Queen + The Muppets, Queen + Vanguard (these two don’t feature any new parts), Freddie Mercury 1992 tribute live tracks, Queen+ tracks from Greatest Hits III, many Kerry Ellis tracks, some other live appearances, etc. Still, here you have 3 hours of great music!
This is an open project for all Queen fans. Should you wish to help me modify and improve my collection for everyone to enjoy, please observe the following ideas:
RULES:
- Queen tracks featuring Queen members and guest stars.
- There must be some new elements from Queen members (guitar work, lead vocals, etc.).
- Only one version per track.
EXCEPTIONS:
- Some tracks may not have an officially released source, or it may be hard to track down. Unofficial sources are fine as long as the sound quality is the best available one.
- Bonus tracks don't have to be fully compliant with the rules. The "fun" factor prevails.
REQUESTS:
- Pavarotti's performance in lossless / high bitrate quality.
- Any other recording that follows the rules.
- Higher quality and/or lossless sources for current files and future additions.
Initially, when I thought about creating a collection with thematic volumes, I hadn’t thought of adding a sixth (or +) collaborations volume, but there’s plenty of goodness here and I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a compilation before, so here’s my contribution to the rarity scene once again. The fans who have overlooked these tracks because of prejudice may be in for a treat.
Now, there’s only one thing left: to improve what I’ve already created. More on that very soon! :-)

You could also add Never Let Her Slip Away by Andrew Gold. That has Freddie on Backing Vocals.
Great list though mate!

And Love is The Hero with Billy Squire, and that track Deacy did for a Biggles movie I forgot.

I'm sorry, but this is not what this compilation is about. Note how all the tracks are actual Queen songs, while the ones you've mentioned are not. Those belong to a 150-200 non-Queen tracks collection that we'll hopefully compile the future.

Fair play Golden Salmon.

I see. So that also explains why Brian's appearance with Rick Wakeman on Starship Trooper was omitted too. Thanks for the heads up and for sharing this compilation!

This is a great project and so nicely done! Congrats and thanks!
Did you consider including Crazy Little Thing Called Love, by Diana Ross feat. Brian May?
It's not a good one, but I think it fits the subject of this compilation.
Cheers,

Oh, and if you wish to include a Queen+-+ (plus minus plus), you might want to consider Say It's Not True by Roger Taylor feat. Jeff Beck. :)

I don't fully consider it a Queen track, it's more of a Roger solo track. It's kind of a grey area, but it fits in the Bonuses volume. It's track 36: Roger Taylor & Jeff Beck - Say It's Not True (2011-06-04 Wintershall Estate)
Here's another one for you, in case you missed it!
And Ogre-, I told you to expect a "Queen minus" track :-)
