Secondly of course i am biased towards Queen 1971 - 1991 any ardent purist Queen fan would be, but i have been critical towards Queen+ which many have on here.

Fools. I'll reply again. Hot Space is the best album Queen did in the 80's. They really dedicated themselves to the tracks on it. Listen to Hot Space closely, it's as if any of the songs could have been a single. Can't say the same for any other album. It may not be up to your standards, but it's as if they wrote every song to be a possible single. Commercial potential. I'll never get tired of Hot Space.
Sail Away Sweet Sister... now I know Brian doesn't have a sister, but if he had, I'd wonder why he'd be writing songs about her instead of a mistress. Don't Try Suicide. Would have been a great B-side, but definitely not for an album. Coming Soon and Rock It... needed Freddie on full leads. Dragon Attack is the hard rock song released by Queen that I'm most disappointed in. Dragon? Please, 'Dragon' and 'Sister' are two words that shouldn't have made it into Queen's lyrics.
The Works is great. 'Keep Passing The Open Windows' doesn't do anything for me, however. I really think 'Let Me In Your Heart Again' and 'Man Made Paradise' should have made it onto that album.
A Kind Of Magic is great. Needed another track. I get embarrassed if I'm playing Queen around a friend and 'One Year Of Love' comes on. I know few die-hard Queen fans in my personal life, but I do know people who love the A Kind Of Magic album due to Highlander, they put a cult status on that album!
The Miracle is great. Needed 'My Life Has Been Saved' and 'Too Much Love Will Kill You' on it. Queen always had a song that you could get drunk and relate to in terms of a break-up, but... 'The Miracle' didn't feature one. (If the 90's was discussed, I'd say the same about Innuendo).
