Nothing of the sort, I just don't categorize people based something as petty as being on a talent show. He didn't come from nothing, he worked hard for years, long before he went on Idol, that was just a shortcut to some better work in his mind, he didn't even expect to get past the first couple of rounds, just hoped it would open a few doors in the theater world. And I recognize talent when I see/hear it, there's nothing hyped and no lies from Brian, he has brilliant vocal technique and has great stage presence and personality. He won't be everyone's taste but that applies to anyone, and the reason I can accept him is I don't compare him to Freddie, they are completely different type's of people with completely different persona's. I happen to like him, if I didn't I just wouldn't watch vids or go to see them, it's that simple for me.

Everything in its right place, and then it's up to people whether they visit said place or not, whether they like or dislike the collaboration.
For many long term Queen fans, it would've been better if a separate Facebook page was created for the Queen+ Lambert stuff. I've unfollowed in the past when they get heavy on posting Lambert photos. After all, I'm a fan of Queen: Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor, John Deacon (which is what the Facebook Queen page describes Queen as, which is what Queen was).
I'm not a fan of Queen+, May and Taylor going under the banner of Queen+ with a fill-in bass players and singers. Especially Lambert. I saw them in 2012, and it was great to see Roger and Brian again, but I find Lambert a little unbearable.
That said, it's all about money and getting people to the concerts including other long term Queen fans, like me, who want to see Brian and Roger play live again, so of course they'll promote it on the Queen page where there's thousands upon thousands of fans.
It's not hard to see how the page ended up divided, between lot of Queen fans and a Glamberts policing the page, telling anyone who voices their view that they don't agree with to go elsewhere.
