I see the issue on fb as the Lambert posts being shared. Many Queen fans don't want to see that. And of course, that, as well as a bunch of Lambert fans all over the page doesn't help matters. I don't think it's surprising many of the long-term Queen fans wouldn't like that. It'd be like having Will Young fans being pushed on Led Zeppelin fans. For the Lambert fans to tell anyone who criticises the collaboration or Lambert to go elsewhere or ask them why they're following the page - what's supposed to be a Queen page - well... I can see how it's turned into what it has.
i disagree with you about it not being all the Glamberts. It wasn't happening before the collaboration because they weren't on the page.

Maybe I didn't explain very well when I said it's not all Glamberts. Obviously there are Adam's fans posting as well but a lot of the comments are Queen fans who dislike the collaboration and Queen fans who have been to shows and love it and a few who don't care for it themselves but are happy for Brian & Roger to still be touring. The arguments are in a lot of cases between those types of fan. A lot of Adam's fans actually post on his own page rather than the Queen one. If you check out the post from today advertising the Vegas shows you can see lots of Queen fans arguing with the naysayers and Martel fans, they aren't Glamberts, unless you're classing any Queen fan who embraces the collab as a Glambert.

I did say "many Queen fans" (which isn't every single one. Some are easily pleased). And the overwhelming majority of Queen fans followed the page as they're fans of Queen, not Lambert. What I do know is that since the page is sharing Lambert posts, and it's been invaded by his fans, the whole thing has become a mess.
It's a shame. I unfollowed the page as I have zero interest in seeing photos of Lambert in my newsfeed, which would please his fans, as they don't want anyone who doesn't agree with them to voice their views.

@Daydrop
I only see about 2 Lambert fans on this site. Most members, who post in this Q+ section are Queen fans, who enjoy the gigs with Lambert and like to discuss them, like myself.
But that‘s almost impossible, because we get attacked by two guys, who think, it‘s not allowed to do that. Every sensible Lambert fan has long left that site. ;-)

That’s probably how many Queen fans feel. Its how they’ve been treated by Lambert fans on the official Queen Facebook page. I’m sure I’m far from the only Queen fan who's left there over it, be it being told to go elsewhere by Lambert fans because you voice your view, or after observing them attempting to police the page and ganging up. That, and the sharing of Lambert stuff.

When I‘m on the Queen Facebook site I simply scroll to the Q+AL parts or don‘t read the comments. And that‘s easy, because there are not that many posts about them anyway.
But you are always talking about Queen and Lambert fans. By far the most people at the gigs are Queen fans, who simply love and enjoy the shows. And from my point of view it‘s mostly them, who defend the collaboration On Facebook. See, I know a few of them (not too closely) and they are definitely no Lambert fans.
I think, it‘s pretty natural, that longtime Queen fans go to Queen‘s social media pages to talk about the gigs. Wherelse should we go?
As long as the Queen media management doesn‘t set up separate pages, there is no other choice. Maybe some more critical Queen fans like you can think about that and just scroll, instead of telling us, we were Lambert fans and on the wrong page?

No idea how long ago you left the facebook page but how would you know if they are strictly Lambert fans? I've just been reading the comments and there are loads from Queen fans defending him - they are people who've been Queen fans for years and in many cases saw Freddie live. Others are clearly casual Queen fans who've been to a show and thought it was great. People who don't like this collaboration seem to ignore the obvious since it doesn't fit what they want to believe, but the truth is there are more and more Queen fans giving the shows a go and liking them and Adam and are in a lot of cases the most vocal on there when it comes to telling people who are being downright nasty to get lost.

I'm not a fan of Queen+, May and Taylor going under the banner of Queen+ with a fill-in bass players and singers. Especially Lambert. I saw them in 2012, and it was great to see Roger and Brian again, but I find Lambert a little unbearable.
It's not hard to see how the page ended up divided, between lot of Queen fans and a Glamberts policing the page, telling anyone who voices their view that they don't agree with to go elsewhere. [/QUOTE]
Not expecting you to change your mind but there's a massive difference between the 2012 shows and the current one.
I do think it would be good if they had a separate Q+ facebook page, the comments get utterly ridiculous but it's not all glamberts by any means - runner is one example who posts about Lambert being a ladyboy and raping goats and all the other things he posts on here under almost every comment, even when the post is about original Queen stuff. Added to that you've got Martel fans posting vids saying he should be the frontman etc. All it's done is make the original Queen fans who've been to shows stick up for Lambert so the posts end up a mile long and more and more vitriolic. There's probably more Queen fans than glamberts posting on there actually and then all the casual fans who've been to a show and want to post about their experience, often to a friend and their post gets hijacked as well. Not sure if there was a separate page it would stop some though, some seem to like the drama and obviously original Queen fans want to stay on the Queen page as well but get dragged into it since it's hard to ignore.

When I'm on facebook and follow pages, they come up in my newsfeed. And the Facebook Queen page goes through phases of posting too much Queen+Lambert crap for my liking. Then, you read through the comments, and there you see the Lambert fans, policing the page, telling people who dare to voice an opinion they don't like to go elsewhere etc. I'm just repeating myself here.
It's crap since the Queen+Lambert stuff gets posted on there and Lambert fans . I unfollowed because it didn't interest me.

I know they're Lambert fans from observation. I also observed their coordinated attacks day after day upon anyone who said anything about Lambert that they didn't like. I also spoke to other Queen fans who were well aware of what they were doing and had been observing for quite a while.
Queen fans even get jumped on for saying "He's no Freddie", let alone Queen fans who outright don't like the collaboration.
People who don't like Queen fans sharing their opinion seem to ignore the obvious since it doesn't fit what they want to believe, but the truth is there are a hell of a lot of Queen fans who don't like the collaboration and have every right to voice their views.

I already replied to this comment with the following...
I've nosed at the videos of recent concerts. The stage is different and they're playing different songs. I can see that. May and Taylor still seem to be playing much the same, and that's all good. The issue is Lambert. I find the guy tacky, and as soon as he starts singing - especially when he reaches the higher notes, I have to switch off. It's a harsh, grating voice. Back in 2012, I could put up with it, but now, I can't stand it anymore.

Lambert fans are some of the most arrogant ass holes i have ever come across, they do not understand if it was not for Freddie forming Queen there "gift from god" would be on his arse somewhere twiddling his fingers!
I agree with Day Dop Lambert fans usher out rudely anyone who dares to say Lambert is rubbish or not good enough for Queen, they shoot there mouths off without thinking that with out Queen material to sing Lambert would be buggered big time.
Lambert fans must have there own web site somewhere to give us real purist Queen fans a rest. We need a rest especially from the same relentless Lambert nutters who keep posting on here day after day as though Lambert pays them for doing so.
Queen were a four man British rock band and this is a site to celebrate that, Lambert fans in my opinion are aliens on this site and need to move on like gypsies would be moved from a site.
