I haven't seen Miracle or Innuendo songs credited to individual writers on anything official.

Greatest Video Hits II credits 'I Want It All' to Brian.
The Spanish version of the musical cast recording (technically an official release as well) credits 'Headlong' to Brian as well.

Not exactly what you were asking for, but here's something from the Fan Club Magazine, Summer 1990.

Interesting. So do we take this at face value that they walked into the Miracle sessions with the intention to share writing credits?

I can't know for sure, as I wasn't there (and even those who were can easily misremember 30 years later), but I think it's possible. The predecent had been set with 'Stone Cold Crazy', 'Soul Brother' and 'One Vision', so perhaps they had a meeting early on and decided that everything would be everyone's.

Speaking of the Fan Club, here's part of a letter (and its reply) printed in Autumn 1991.

And here's a harsh one sent by a fan from Greater Manchester. I wonder what he thought of his words a month after this magazine was published.

wow... they actually printed THAT in their own mag?

In Jacqueline's defence, she didn't publish the letters loads of people sent in reply to that one. She mentioned he'd reached out again and apologised and left it at that.

But more I read on various sites....more I believe it was more because of the early to mid 80s and how much the band had fallen apart through egos and arguments and wanting to do their own work to forfill their artistic differences hence the only way they could really make it work was to share credits to the rest of the band...[/QUOTE]
It seems they had sorted out a lot of their internal issues after Paul Prenter was booted (late 85 or early 86), so indeed, maybe this was a natural progression rather than being related to Mercury's illness.
Whatever the truth is, the band have done well in keeping it under wraps for 30 years.

All the songs on Barcelona were credited to Freddie and to Mike Moran. (and a lyricist for a few of them.) Not sure if that's relevant, but anyway it occurred to me.

That’s because they were genuine co-writes....a true collaboration (the lyricist was Sir Tim Rice, by the way).

Ouch, he even mentioned how terrible Freddie looked too.
He must have felt awful for that.

Christ.....even without any 'official' word or confirmation, by the point the bloke wrote that letter, and as much as we fans wanted to live in hope and denial, it was VERY clear from the press stories, paparazzi photos, and public rumours (let alone Freddie's appearance in a couple of official promo videos) , that he was not a well man, and that touring really wasn't through any laziness on Freddie's behalf.
I'll give him the benefits of the doubt by saying simply saying this letter was 'naive'.
