Could we make our own Queen cover?

I'm trying to make a drum take in the following weeks (when I have the time ;)) and I will record it. Sadly, I have bad recording equipment for my drums, but I'll give it a try.

Guys, I’m sure your efforts will sound great, but I give you one advice:

Oh, I came later to the party hahaha. In the next song, I could do acoustic guitar, piano or (a basic) bass, in case nobody's there. This is turning great! :D

Chief, if I may: I guess the outro will be "sung" by people who can't really sing (but it should work given enough submissions).

The problem with people who can't sing is that they often don't have the right equipment to record their voice professionally. For instance, I used to own a mike, but I lost it around the time I realised singing was not the thing I do best *cough*.

Therefore, for the singalong, wouldn't it be acceptable to allow posters to use their phone to do the recording? You'd suggest the right app and the right settings and maybe you'd get a few submissions?

I think phones will do just fine, why not? :) It's mainly about enthusiasm and participation.

P.S. I am not aware of any specific apps, I'm sorry. Whatever works best for you guys.

Love this folks! If you ever want a violin on a future thing, here I am. Very Queen, I know, hahahaha! Oh well. I also play piano, but not well and my piano is nearly a semitone flat (but quote quite, so you can't even transpose stuff a semitone), so you definitely don't need me there!
