Remember when Brian was solo touring? We complained he wasn’t doing enough Queen songs. And now that Brian has Roger Taylor (the original Lars Ulrich) as his drummer playing Queen songs, there are those who complain!!! Wow. Like OMG.

Growing up as a Queen fan in the 90's and 00's I never thought I'd read a post of someone complaining that Queen (in whatever shape or form) was touring YET AGAIN. Jesus. Fucking. Christ.

Maybe the Russian farm trolls have found their way here? :P ;)

PS. Agreed, Wiley. Hell, people were wishing that they would go back on tour, AND tour regularly!

Last year, but certainly this years show were amazingly high in quality.
Ofcourse i heard the big hits. But also Tear it up! One number the big audience never heard. Myself included: it is really one of their worsts..
Will i go again? Certainly!!
Hopes: brian drops his ‘normal’solo and plays 15 minutes medley of his geatest solos. Dropping scc and tiu and replacing them with f.e. Song like goflb or wq. The kid can sing: though more musical like. Use that.
Using that kid they found to front : he can sing

Do you actually think they are not doing it for the money? LOL, very naive comments[/QUOTE]
Only someone with no money makes that type of comment... Given they are both suffering from arthritis they want to go out and do what they love as many times as they can, because shortly at a point nobody can predict it will be the last time, maybe this time maybe not, but I can assure you it isn't for money, if you really think that then you have no understanding of firstly the amount of money they recieve without even getting up in the morning, and secondly the shear joy of playing live...

People throw this "their only doing it for th money" line about, but it comes from a point of view with little understanding. Yes they are making money, you wouldn't do this to lose money.
But the truth is, and I've posted this before. If it was a money making exercise they would tour with a show that was half the size, not as complex a production and with more dates in a shorter time, no long gaps between different continents and with a shorter setlist.
They are doing this at the highest level they can and giving the audience the best experience possible
It should also be remembered that the tour promoter sets the ticket price, not the artist (in most cases)

"Only someone with no money makes that type of comment... " if you say so, not true but all good. I'm saying this from I've seen over the years regarding
music related releases and the self BM constant product promotions. One example when BM complained of how the monopoly game deserves to be selling more, nicely re-worded as deserved to be out to more people...............
That's my opinion.

if they dumped Lambert and got Jeff Scott Soto, Paul Rodgers, Marc Martel or Justin Hawkins in on vocals I might be interested but no interest of ever seeing them with Lambert he is fucking awful in my opinion.

Making money surly is not the main motivation for them to tour. They are not the youngest anymore, they have families, health issues...
I think that if money would be a motivation for them it would be easier to throw out made in heaven 2, an anthology or o dozen of live albums.

I think days there's a lot more profits in concerts than releasing live albums/anthology.

Marc Martel has a flawed voice, in some moments he really screws up. I would forgive that if he was a true rocker, but hes not, just like Lambert.

There won't be a Queen tour in 2019 as the last one was in 1986 and the band doesn't exist anymore.
I guess you mean the mediocre cover band "Queen+"?

Brian & Roger do call it Queen +, no one's pretending it's Queen and all the people wanting more shows obviously don't think it's mediocre at all.

To this date I still fondly remember Brian's Soapbox post from December 10th, 2004 when he first announced they would be touring with Paul Rodgers in the spring. Fast forward to April, I had traveled across the world to see my idols perform and I met them in person in Prague.
I won't be doing international trips to see them anymore but rest assured that if "the circus" comes back to town in 2019 anywhere near me, I'll be there.

Kid,they've deceived you coz this is not Queen.
Queen are Freddie Mercury, John Deacon, Roger Taylor, Brian May.
