I have a bizarre question - is there a chance that there were 2 concerts recorded that night? "Good evening and welcome to another Radio 1 concert program from the Golders Green Hippodrome in London" vs. "But we're moving on with the concert program now".
OK Edit I checked Bob's site and it looks like it started with a Randy Newman concert? So can it be that the "good evening" part comes from the beginning of the broadcast and the "we're moving on" part comes from the Queen part of the show?

Good call - I think you may be right.

Peter Skellern was the opening act at Golders Green that night.
This has also been confirmed in print by BBC Radio Producer Jeff Griffin.
The BBC1 radio broadcast was on October 20th.

Nice share! Aside from the dialogue which sounds a little bit muffled, the "Queen On The Green" stuff sounds pretty good
