Did anyone else buy the Bass magazine with Deacy on the cover? Some nice tributes from the likes of Mark King, Billy Sheehan etc.

Never seen Bass Magazine in my neck of the woods but lovely the underrated Mr Deacon is getting all the praise he so richly deserves.

Yeah, although it's a shame his retirement from public life is total, to the point where he won't even give an interview to a musicians magazine.
The info in the piece is already widely know and available. The Buzard Bass that was loaned to him, the magazine say they don't know who owned it was leant to him by The Bass Centre in Wapping. They were selling it on behalf of John Entwistle
The mag also misquoted John's backline. Through the 80's up until the end of the magic tour he was using Sunn Cabs, the magazine seemed to have missed this point.
