Great thread, plenty of laughs!

I find it ironic that several reviews in the states criticize the film for not portraying Mercury the way Baron Cohen wanted to. They did not mention Cohen by name though. I am in my 60s and saw Queen live before most of the members in this forum were born and can’t help but think this film will disappoint me. Think I will just listen to the music and enjoy my memories instead.

Very enjoyable read.

I am curious about the movie, but am unsure if i can emotionally ignore Freddie being betrayed by the negative slanted portrayal seemingly authored by Brian and Roger. Paul Prenter seems to be a saint by comparison.
