To go from manager of Queen to "Entertainment Officer" for DIT Students Unions... wow.

Old enough. I don't even think he worked for Queen in 77. I think he was just friends with Freddie.

Why is Straker sniffing his fingers?
He's wondering where the smell of sulfur is coming from.

He was playing with Paul’s bunda.

I wonder what Straker thought of Paul?

I heard Paul had told some guys he flirted with that he wanted to “make babies” with them. I heard he had some weird impregnation obsession.

Yeah Straker's take on Prenter would be interesting. He's very level headed and intelligent so would have a good account.

So, would we be able to say that there may be some truth behind what was portrayed in the Bohemian Rhapsody movie about John Reid introducing Paul to Queen?

Really makes it seem like he had no interest in parties or the lifestyle, and he was the responsible one.
Wasn't he the one who dragged Mercury into the NYC gay scene?

Doesn't sound like a homebody to me.

Revisionist history.

Freddie and the others were no idiots, right? they had high education and they were mature people when Queen took off and never felt you were in the presence of naive rock stars.
So how come this person called Paul Pranter managed to deceive(trick, hoax, dupe, take in, mislead, delude, fool, outwit, misguide, lead on, seduce) Freddie and the others for so many years?
Mercury had a pretty serious cocaine habit by the early 80s. And when you have a drug problem, responsibility for oneself tends to go by the wayside. Combined with his life becoming a series of night clubs and one night stands, he was falling off the rails. It hit a point where he wasn't showing up to mixing sessions for his own songs.

1982-85 was not a good period for the band. Brian has since spoken of his concern about Freddie's downward spiral, but they've generally been good at covering it up and being respectful of their legacy later in life (same as McCartney does when asked about his difficulties with John Lennon) because it's not their dirty laundry to share. Not every band is The Eagles.
