"Bohemian Rhapsody has introduced a whole new generation to the music and power of Queen. However, what is it like for the band’s drummer, Roger Taylor, who has seen his life as a member of one of the most prolific bands projected onto the big screen? While she’s careful to speak for Roger, the musician’s wife, Sarina Taylor, spoke with Metro.co.uk from her pop-up shop on Carnaby Street, alongside business partner and Roger’s tattoo artist Manuela Gray, about the effect the movie has had. As amazing as the reception has been, Sarina knows what we have seen could be taken as an idealised look at the group’s rise to fame.

‘I’ve seen it a couple times,’ she smiled, from a nook in the pop up. ‘Any film you watch is going to be the director and writer’s interpretation.’ She then added diplomatically: ‘I think they’ve done a good job at creating a great film everyone can go see.’ On Ben Hardy’s turn as her husband in his heady days of being the drummer in the 70s and 80s, she added: ‘I’m close to Roger so it would be difficult for me to comment on it because you see them differently. I think I’ll probably just say, he did a great job. ‘I think they’re all very happy about it.’"

To be honest i honestly do not understand why this film had to be made apart from the bucket loads of money it is making and i bet this film was Brian May's idea. May is doing everything in his power to get his bank account full up before he retires soon.

You would have thought this Bo Rhap film was made because of the love and respect Brian & Roger had towards Freddie but seems to me this is not the case here, they just keep on milking the Queen cash cow and Freddie is the victim to make them the money. That is why Queen+ goes on and on and on = Money Money Money ! I am surprised that May & Taylor have not been in the cemeteries looking for Freddie's ashes to sell on Ebay because that is how greedy those two are now.

You basically like two people.

Yourself and Freddie Mercury, you have an obvious unpleasant dislike of both Brian and Roger and also anyone who very slightly has a different view to yours.

What ever money "Queen" make from this film will go to all of them, including Freddie's estate.

The real money makers will be 20th century fox and all the other production companies associated with the films production. A lot of money has to be put up before the cameras role and those people have yo be paid too.

Of course this film seems to have been successful so everyone will get their cut, but don't sit there thinking that all the profit goes to Brian May.

I admit i do not like some business decisions that May & Taylor make but that is my personal choice, and yes Freddie even wrecked Brian & Roger's ideas in the studio because they were ridiculous.
Freddie had a great sense of what would work and what would not work. It has to be said Freddie's grand ideas of getting the band famous and not wanting to be another star but a legend was epic.

Dead on, great examples of Freddie infallible judgement are Hot Space and Mr. Bad Guy.

There speaks someone without a musical bone in his body, why on earth would they carry on playing music? they love it, it's what they always wanted to do, and you can actually enjoy something and carry on doing it after someone dies, you don't HAVE to stop, Freddie is far from a victim, I'm not sure what MSM you read? but he seems pretty well globally worshipped these days, so not really sure where you think the victim part comes in? First he is licking Adam Lamberts cunt saying he is the gift from god, then because this Bo Rhap film is out he has switched again saying something or other about Fred to sell the film.
when other times he hardly praises Fred at all. May does things to benefit himself not others he is a business man a good fibber and a brilliant musician.
