I can understand everything, but not this.. Or do they think that at least 36 weeks is a few?

Yes, they posted that on all social media accounts. Stupid. And they fail to mention John Deacon as having been part of Queen on YouTube now.

In a few years they will tell everybody he recorded it a week before his death.
Whatever sells.

He wrote & recorded it from his deathbed while overlooking the snow in the garden of his home Garden Lodge while also setting up the Mercury Phoenix Trust and telling Brian and Roger to fire John because he would only hold them back.

Yes. Frederick's lifetime lasted 2,359 weeks. His vocal on that song was compiled when he had 28 weeks left. 28 weeks was 1.18% of his lifetime, which means 98.82% of his life took place before he finished work on 'A Winter's Tale'.

On the other hand. if someone told you that if you agreed to stop eating for a few weeks and he would give you a million pounds, then he revealed "a few" was actually 36 weeks, I doubt you would agree with his definition of "a few". Or as the old Irish saying goes, a mile isn't very long unless you have to push a pea along with your nose.

Human pregnancy is only a "few" weeks.
i recommend using this "factoid" while in the delivery room ... you will never walk again if she is in kicking distance.

True. In the case of starvation, pregnancy, drowning, etc., 36 weeks is quite a long time. But in the case of human lifespan, it's 'a few' indeed.

Hands down, this is the greatest thing you've ever said on this website.

If I didn't know, I'd interpret "a few weeks" as between, say, 6 and 12 weeks. People also say this about the "These are the days of our lives" video, saying it was recorded a few weeks before he died, when it might be more accurate to describe it as a few months.
I don't think on the official facebook page it will be someone we know about doing the updates - it won't be Roger or Brian of course, and it won't be someone like Jacky Smith from the Fanclub (not that they are the source of all knowledge when it comes to Queen), but it will be some P.R. person who knows a bit and puts something together.
Queen were always very good at spinning what was going on through the fan club magazines and in the media, but in recent weeks (meaning, since the release of the film), things seem to have gone crazy - denying the works tour recently was a good one from Brian May.

I couldn't have said it better myself.

Do we actually have dates for A Winters Tale?
I mean, i think we all know it's between December 1990 and may 1991, but anything more accurate than that?

Frederick's vocal track was compiled on the 10th of May 1991. That's all which has been revealed with that degree of specificity.
