Frederick's vocal track was compiled on the 10th of May 1991. That's all which has been revealed with that degree of specificity.[/QUOTE]
What's the deal with you referring to Freddie Mercury as Frederick? Do you feel closer to him by calling him a name no one (probably even including his parents) called him in his life time?

No, I do not feel in any way close to Frederick, as I never ever met Frederick. Frederick is a correct form of his name, as are Brian, John and Roger for his band-mates. Of course, there's nothing wrong with referring to them with hypocorisms, which in this case could be Fred(die), Bri, Jack and Rog, and I don't mind them as either form is absolutely fine (in fact, for several years, I used 'Rog' in my signature for this website in order to save characters).
Back to Frederick, Frederick's vocal on 'A Winter's Tale' was compiled in May 1991 according to someone who allegedly was present there with Frederick when Frederick either compiled it himself or witnessed someone else doing so. It may not have been the last time Frederick worked on that particular composition as there's a hypothetical chance Frederick could've added keyboard overdubs later on, but it's also possible that Frederick's last recording when it comes to that song - which Frederick himself wrote - was his (i.e. Frederick's) vocals.

Fucking bizarre. No one called him Frederick, not did he refer to himself as that publicly - so it's pretty obvious that it is very deliberate and odd/creepy that you choose to refer him as that.

Actually, he did refer to himself as Frederick at least on one recorded occasion. Moreover, when he naturalised as a British citizen he was legally registered as 'Frederick Bulsara'. He also signed the Neptune Productions contract as 'Frederick Bulsara' and the severance as 'Frederick Mercury' a few years later. His death certificate says 'Frederick Mercury' as well. I've never seen his passport - nor am I expected ever to do so - but it wouldn't surprise me if the name there was also 'Frederick'.
Now, even if he'd never referred to him as Frederick (and he did, as mentioned earlier), that wouldn't make it wrong to use it. Just ask Caligula.

My father ( may he rest in peace ) once teased my sister along those while she was having Braxton Hicks. Her reaction was to pour a jug of water over his head. You have reminded me a fond memory.
They made up us to a half hour later, all was good, and it was the stuff of family legend for years after.
