quite interesting to see the solo stuff also. Thanks a lot. I have a source from Last Horizon that maybe it could be useful for the project. Becouse I always see the same source on internet and it's quite bad, mine is better, is from spanish television, on VHS quality

I have a question for Chinwonder and Chief Mouse.
I want to capture my vast collection of promo VHSs. I will do this in an uncompressed V210 10-bit YUV AVI file. Of course, I will maintain the frame size and rate of the original format, and keep everything interlaced with the proper field order.
I really cannot leave this as uncompressed because of the file size (+100 GB/hr). On the other hand, I want to share this stuff with people to use it for their open restoration/remastering projects, so I wouldn't want to lose too much information.
Which video codec do you recommend me to encode this stuff for those purposes?
