The album stinks on ice, but I had a thought about it the other day - the only possible person I can imagine making We Believe work is Elton John. I was listening to his schmaltzy 90's shit and it suddenly clicked.
Paul Rodgers tries to sing it and it just sounds like a confused bar singer trying to read Brian's Soapbox to a musical backing.
