Thoughts on the new-risen Queen hype?

Queen have been a massive hype since Lambert took lead vocals and its not for the better either.

You're mistaking me loving the fact my favourite band of all time are touring again with the added bonus I love Adam singing with them as being a crush, definitely not the same thing.

The hype around Queen at the moment is mainly generated by the movie and even before that when some of it may be Adam related how can that be a bad thing when it means fans like myself can see Brian & Roger live playing our favourite music? Can't see the downside myself except for people who don't like Adam's voice but even then they wouldn't be playing at all without him so the one's who aren't on board wouldn't be seeing them anyway so there's nothing lost there. It's quite simple to me, if you like them go see them if you don't ignore what they're doing, it's not like there isn't years worth of stuff pre Queen + to concentrate on.

No, it's not based on AL 100%. The current hype over Queen is surely to do with the movie and the thread is about their presence on social media. AL might be part of the hype, but not 100% of it. No-one said the hype was because of AL - it was you who mentioned him.

Also, rockchic didn't tell you to go and see a shrink. Jeez...read what's being said.

Thoughts on the new rising Queen hype, it says and i have told you my thoughts.
The hype was going long before Bohemian Rhapsody film was released.
Brian May done his best to hype Queen+ and Adam saying such ridiculous things as "he is the gift from god"
Roger Taylor had his share in it too telling porkies to get bums on seats, and i can see through those two, they are devious and liars.
If anyone was the "gift from god" it was when those two worked with Freddie.

No, it's about the OP's thoughts on Queen's new hype (even OP attributes it to the movie) and whether you think it's a good thing.

No-one mentioned AL apart from you, hijacking a thread once again to make it about your deep rooted hatred for something you should be letting go of. You don't like it - once again, we get that.

Most people never heard of Adam Lambert.

I don't mind it - if 1% of the new fans discover Queen music because of it and the film, then great.. Although I don't like the film, it's nice to see it has served to introduce Queen music to younger generations

No big deal to me. Love the classic line up and their music/entertainment quality. Of course that has cooled down a little since the 90s.

Yes if this film gets the young kids interested in discovering Freddie and checking out the Queen back catalogue then all is good.
Once they hear Freddie sing they will be hooked.

Rockchic Yet again you spout your shite for the USA, Lambert has not made Queen popular again, Queen were never out of the worlds mind to start with.
Its Queen that has gave Lambert a climb up to the world stages and without Queen he would be dust.
Lambert is not responsible for Queen selling out because Queen have been legends for over 45 years something that Lambert will never be.
