Dolezal is writing a book titled “My Friend, Freddie” about his experiences (due out later this year) and plans to release unedited versions of his interviews with Mercury in a new film, “Freddie Mercury: In His Own Words.”
unedited versions of his interviews? Great! Can't wait!!

I suppose now is a good time for everybody connected with Frederick in some way to release a book. Looking forward to it.

I saw the documentary he was part of (he was co-director) about Whitney Houston, "Whitney: Can I be me?" and I knew nothing about Whitney prior to seeing it (I only saw it as I was helping out promote screenings of films around the country (I was obviously just doing screenings near me!) as a volunteer for BIFA - British Independent Film Awards & I doubt I'd have chosen to see the film had I not had to be there for the screening.)
Of course I knew Whitney's most well known songs, but her music isn't exactly my taste and I knew nothing else about her. I have to say it was SUCH an amazing documentary and what's more made me fall totally in love with Whitney as a person and filled me with respect for her talent as an artist.
Thus, if he wants to write a book, make a documentary, or make one of those sequels or other films about Freddie, I am there for it Rudi! And I am definitely there for interviews - the best of all! :)

Yeah Whitney was such a powerful singer a true star and very talented but like Freddie bad people influenced her to the seedy side of life and ultimately she was taken from us.
I look forward to all the new Freddie material, and Rudi did really appreciate Freddie for who he was and his musical brilliance.
Such a shame that a few people on here disrespect him and make fun of him.

"I was getting very friendly with one of Queen’s backing vocalists, and she and I decided to go somewhere — just the two of us. Freddie realized that and said ‘OK, you can use my guest bedroom,’ and went upstairs and put in new linen on the beds for us himself.”
Queen had female backing vocalists?

Whitney?
I've always been amazed to find out that SHE was the worse influence within her marriage with Bobby Brown. She definitely had better PR.
Either way, this is fantastic news! (Although some will simply see it as a cash in) They worked together for several years. It's welcome to hear some insight into Freddies work ethic and "vision"
Damn. Gotta start saving dough. No doubt it'll only be carried in the UK

It'd be great to see what footage he has from all the time spent with the band.

Pholidota Queen never had backing singers when Freddie was alive as far as i know, so you may have dreamed about that story.

@EMI2565
Pholidota merely quoted a piece of the interview with Dolezal on that website, Dolezal is talking about backing vocalists.

He said Queen backing vocalists, surely Queen were only Queen on record and live performances so there was no lady backing vocalists.

We know Queen did not have any lady backing vocalists,
Did you read the interview on that website?
He is saying "?? ?????? ?????????????? ???????? ???????????????? ???????? ?????? ???? ??????????’?? ?????????????? ??????????????????, ?????? ?????? ?????? ?? ?????????????? ???? ???? ??????????????????"

hahaha, when clicking on he link I found this foto at the article saying 1987. DORO strikes again. 1985 was that shoot during the ONe vision clip. Reminds me of the rare live tape with all these big date mistakes.
