Let's see if you can notice the differences...

A weird edit, Freddie's voice at around 1:45 is unlike the original but I'm not sure if that's new, and overall it's a different mix! Perhaps something to do with the movie's surround track, I think the bass and drums around the beginning are louder than usual.
Thanks for the heads up!

The Vocal sounds very Epheiral. I like it!

I noticed different guitar part around 2:20 and weird mix in the chorus at 0.55 + the one at 1:45 pointed out by Golden Salmon. I still prefer the original version..

The bass is much more upfront. It is such a great line by John.

It's buried in the mix on the studio version, but it's on the multi-track tape. Listen here at 3:43.

Parts mentioned above are buried deep in the original mix but they are there! Long time ago i played in audacity with adjusting the FLAC track to the instrumental and reversing the latter (that's how people made the so-called self-made acapellas back then) which resulted in some nice things that couldn't be heard in the album mix. I still have some of the files extracted somewhere.

the stems to TSMGO are available on internet, look for 'em ;)

Things that i've mentioned can't be heard in stems. Freddie's lead vocal is mixed with the backing vocals in the chorus parts, therefore you cannot clearly hear it exposed, like in the movie mix.

It sounds as though the electronic drums have been removed (or dropped right back in the mix) so we are hearing Roger's acoustic kit far greater - sounds much better for it too. The bass guitar is also much clearer in this mix, which is lovely.

I've always wanted to hear a version where the synths have been replaced with guitar. This sounds really good and the power in Freddie's delivery of the refrain is simply stunning!
