he does another post where says we should "expect the unexpected"
So I expect a dvd with the entire concert on video :-)[/QUOTE]
I’d go for an official release without factual errors in the press release and cock ups in the physical product as ‘the unexpected’!

I personally think at some point more Doro stuff from the day will show up.

Hmmm.
Well there's two options here.
1) The cast of Bo Rhap are going to be hired to recreate Knebworth to produce the visuals which, of course, will be dubbed with the real audio recordings.
2) QPL are waiting for memory scan technology to be developed which will allow people's memories to be recorded and edited to produce a video feed.
Of course, the flaw in the plan is that by the time the scientists at Area 51 have figured it out, everyone who was present at Knebworth will be long dead.

They should then use Assassins Creed technology and get the footage via DNA.

Many QUEEN releases will come in the next hundred years...including Knebworth

I think so too.
That guy from Doro confirmed he filmed quite a lot a Knebworth. Clearly there's a lot of backstage footage and let's hope the camera's were rolling from Now I'm here onwards, even if it were only a couple and with no ideal angles. Even if it's only that, it'd be pretty great.

It's actually incredible how Queen still haven't released some of their best concert recordings:
Earls Court 77 (compilation of both nights would make an awesome audio release), Hammy '79, Knebworth,...
They should realise a visual document isn't Always needed. Just audio from those great concerts would be enough for me.
Seeing Hammy '79 complete would totally kick ass though...

Completely agree with the idea that the live shows they have need to be released.
However a live Kebworth release would really only duplicate the already released Wembley gigs when you then take into account Live Magic and Budapest there are already three live releases from that one tour.
Yes it has significance to long term fans as Freddie's last gig, but is that tour worthy of another release over earlier and maybe more interesting gigs.

You are are completely right but the problem seems to be their unwillingness to release anything that wasn't multitracked…
I think they have tapes of some of their best concerts (like LA 2-12-77) but not on Multi track so those shows (legendary as they are) won't be released.

Absolutely agree with you. To this day i still don't understand how houston 77 or buenos aires 81 for example wasnt relleased yet. Lot of backstage content, full concert material in great quality and so on. Seems like they just dont care about this stuff since they have a lot of money anyway.
