Heyyyy, I've always loved bohemian rhapsody and was the first queen song I heard. Ive heard mixed thoughts about it being Anyway or Any Way. I personally have always thought it was anyway and without the handwritten copy he gave to Jim we'll never know. Considering that he wanted everyone to interpret the song and meaning differently I guess it could be either and they both work. On Pandora lyrics it says anyway and apple it says Any Way for some and Anyway for others. What are your guys thoughts?

Both.

Never thought of this because I always figured it was 'any way'. I guess both can work but for me it'll always be two separate words.

I know it's not always the case where the lyric sheets on the official releases are correct, but on the copies I have, it's "anyway". For me, it sounds like two separate words and "any way" makes more sense.

Either are accepted.

Since "Any Way The Wind Blows" was an established phrase in the English language well before Bohemian Rhapsody (as well as being the title of at least two songs, a 1958 Doris Day-song and a 1966 Frank Zappa-song), this seems to be the most likely. If it were "Anyway", then it would require a comma ("Anyway, the wind blows") because otherwise, the syntax would be incorrect (it would have to be "The Wind Blows Anyway").
Semantically, "any way" also makes more sense because the phrase is followed by "doesn't really matter to me", which has more of a bearing on "any way" (direction) than it would on "anyway".

This are all ideas I was thinking. I read some places anyway and any way. When he says it the second time in the background when he says mammaaa it sounded like anyway to me

This is on the internet purporting to be Freddie's handwritten lyrics. It doesn't look like his writing to me so I always assumed it was fake. I guess this is as good a place to ask as any.
I do know his writing did change a lot in the '80's and was different/less always the same in the '70's, so I wasn't sure if it could possibly be Freddie's hand.
Even if not in Freddie's hand, could it have been written by someone with some involvement with the creation of the song? Obviously it is a terrible scan whatever the source.
I think "Any way" is all that makes sense anyway... although I just looked up my photos of Carnaby street and they seem to have put "Anyway" up in lights which amuses me. I'll share that photo in another post.

"Anyway the wind blows" up in lights for months on Carnaby Street.

And when I say assumed it was fake, I don't suppose I mean that. I just mean I couldn't be sure it was genuine and wondered, either way.

I saw those copy of lyrics too which I assumed was fake aswell. Freddie gave the copy to Jim and on the original copy it had like lots of handwritten notes than the one that was online and it wouldn’t make sense how anyone got their hands on it. On carnaby street I saw anyway also so I kinda assumed it was Anyway after seeing that.

It’s “any way”.
Anyway, like, um, you know, would not be lyrics. Like, well, you know what I mean, right? Anyway ... what was I saying? Oh, yeah. Mmm hmm.

"Any way" is the only possible way to read/hear this, as best explained above by thomasquinn 32989. No argument for any other option.
