When kurgan post link for the free alternative of wow&flutter remover i couldnt help myself and go and try to do something with the HP shitty audio. Well it was big pain in ass to work with this and i spent nearly an hour only with this 1 minute(cut to 30s for video) segment and came up with this. It's still far from perfection and some of the flutter was just to strong to correct but i have to say it does sound much better. What do you think?

If it took an hour to correct 1 minute, just for it to still sound poor (not your effort, I don't mean your effort is poor) then it might not be a worthwhile project.

I think the same Thistle. Is just took quite some time and its still far from perfect. Maybe with some bigger eq and stuff it can sound not that bad but not sure if its worth it. Maybe in free time i will be correcting the audio only for myself cause i really like that show.

Since the wow and flutter only occurs in small segments, perhaps the project doesn't seem so daunting after all?
Having said that, there are versions from the video feed that do not suffer from the wow and flutter in the first place.

Now with the "hype" calm down i really not think is worth it yeah. Also speaking about wow and flutter free source, do you know where to get one? I never find any except audience stuff.

Rather than seeking a clean mono but lossy source from the video feed, why not put pressure on QP to release this concert officially?

Very nice try but if it indeed takes an hour to correct one minute, it's going to be a lifetime work. But I'm impressed by the gain. As you say it's far from perfect but it's not so bad. I don't know the HP show very well because it's quite a pain listening to it and I don't know the ratio flutter / clear sound but if you feel like going on, why not? As we say in French "Bon courage" . It shows what could be done by QP but will probably never be.

Sounds like i(we) have bigger chance to win in lottery than make them relleased something that is worth it...
The original source was the lattest wardour rellease shared by gwyneth here, idk which source they use. I believe kurgan transfer sound better but link i found is dead, any chance of reupload?

It only happens in small segments? The whole thing is horrible. Really a pain to listen to. I applaud Marlamir for trying, but I can't see it ever becoming listenable.
If I recall the conversation properly, it's been said that Sikke has the best version. I don't know if that's right, but from the snippets he's put up from his tape, it still sounds garbage.
Of course it would be great of QP released it officially - but I agree with Marlamir that there's a better chance of winning the lottery ;)

The audio they used on their bootleg is a very lossy one from the video feed.
I stand by my comment regarding the wow and flutter on the raw audio flac transfer I shared.

Wardour version have shittload of wow&flutter issue but many of them are barrely noticeable or vissible only on waveform. From what i remember your version kurgan is way more cleaner from this but still have quite couple of them.

Yes, some segments where this occurs are quite noticeable.
These segments can be logged using a video copy as a guide, as the picture also goes haywire at the same point the wow and flutter occurs.
It's not an easy fix as you've already discovered, the software would take some time to master.
Whether it's worth the effort depends on the individual considering the task.
