I bet John slept with Anita and Debbie and that's why he's no longer in the band.

I am also glad they acknowledged Paul. They really did cover everything after Freddie's death.

Yeah, except they left out two Queen studio albums

Funny how they quickly dissed John D, less than 30 seconds. Even when they showed the Wembley tribute they showed the BM and RT speech and totally ignored JD, it's so obvious what they are doing, it's embarrassing to Queen fans.[/QUOTE]

More than that. They are desecrating Queen and John. I wish he would get out in public and give one big FUCK YOU interview about Maylor. THose two clearly have lost the plot especially Brian.

Given that JD hasn't given any kind of interview since FMs death (bar the drunken comments 're Robbie Williams in 2001) I doubt he will now. I'd love to know what was in the 2003 letter to Roger And Brian which he apparently sent giving them permission to do what they wanted with the Queen brand.

It's not easy to be Roger and Brian these days right?

They are doing what they always have been doing and that is bring music to the masses. Their singer died when they were in their early 40' and they built up a huge legacy all together of them, not only Freddie.

Who can blame them to proceed making music in the fashion they are doing?

Queen was never a band for small audiences. The bigger the better.

JD chose to retire which is sad for us but we have to respect it. He will undoubtedly benefit of the efforts that BM and RT did in the past 25 years to keep Queen alive. Nearly everything they did was a great success (TCR is the only exception).

So they are great business men next to extremely talented musicians.

They perform with great passion with a singer that can handle the songs.

I really do not understand what the negativity is all about.

They earn respect for making all this happen and that Queen is so much alive, at least as much as it was before 1991.
You ain't seen nothing 'till your down on the muffin...;)

Amen. Even though I still get annoyed by Adam laying on the couch and his mannerisms, seeing the joy on Brian and Roger's faces make me still happy. That minute from the dressingroom where they're rehearsing the Killer Queen and Bicycle Race harmonies was worth it alone to watch the documentary - and there were some other nice bits and pieces as well. I was kinda hoping they would show a bit more footage of the performances they did from 1999-2004, but I understand that that's probably not that interesting for the general audience.

OK fine, they've made a documentary which was always going to happen.

But this phrase in the press release:

Queen remain vanguards of rock in the 21st century

REALLY???? Let's just admit they're a back catalogue act now, and that's OK, everyone knows what it is. But VANGUARDS????

Laughable indeed like everything connected to QAL

I imagine John is not sad about all of the revenue he is collecting from the highly successful QAL tours and Bohemian Rhapsody biopic !!!

I love the way so many fuckwits think they can speak for Freddie and John yet 99% of them have never even seen them in real life let alone know what they are thinking or would have said... John is perfectly capable of standing up and saying openly if he dislikes what Queen are doing these days, and as for Freddie well he's dead... so im guess he doesnt give a shit, he certainly didn't on his deathbed being perfectly happy for them to do whatever they wanted after he'd gone.

Queen remain one of the worlds biggest selling artist, millions buy tickets for gigs, millions bought tickest to see the film, and thousands go see Queen tribute bands around the world, yet a small few on here hate that fact that they are more popular now than ever and simply can't just sit back and listen to the music.... it's hilarous but as Roger say fuck you don't come!

Togg, I one hundred percent agree.

There are plenty on this site who don't like or just don't want to be part of what they do now, and that's fair enough. But as you say there are those who can't leave it alone and seem to think they will effect a change if they shout long and loud enough. The truth is they achieve nothing and end up looking like idiots.

And some of us say the same back, F_ck you too, we are not coming! Fuckwitts or not, they are not Queen now, like it or not!

Well, legally they are so deal with it

Dealing with it but I don't have to like it

No true enough, you don't and that's cool

Personally I think the band said it best in the recent doc, Freddie didn't want his music to fade out, so why not do what the do as a band and continue to be a live current band. John could have tried to stop them is he wanted but he's happy cashing the cheques, im sure he doesn't like everything they do but when did all four ever agree on even an album? he doesn't really care that much or he'd been out there trying to stop it or commenting. but he just sits back and collects the money, so those that say he's making a stand by not being part of it couldn't be further from the truth, if he wanted to make a stand he could stop being part of QPL, but he didn't he just left Queen touring Ltd....
