I liked the doc. A shame about Roger as always (Richard Hammond to May's James May) but it was a useful watch.

I actually love that dynamic.
Brian needs that counterweight.

@dysan: what did you mean "shame about Roger"? sorry I haven't seen the documentary, could you clarify?

His overall persona. I've taken a huge dislike to him recently.
Don't worry, he's quite healthy.

I understand, was he being a bit grumpy?

No. Just being himself.

Joe Elliott grabbed Brian's arm? Pretty spooky, considering what happened to Rick Allen.
I'd like to enjoy this so called documentary, but it's nothing more than a promo of the Queen+ concept - popa Roger, granny Bryan and nephew Adam, who brought a shine of light into their lives.
Maybe Freddie didn't care what will happen after his death, but I do.

How about Deep Purple + Steve Morse story ?
Purpendicular and Abandon are the prove that a real rock band can do more than pathetically survive personnel changes.
The musical world is bigger than Queen.
It's good to be aware of this when Roger says: You'll not see Freddie on stage fuckers, take it or leave it !

I was thinking about his brash behavior also, I think it comes from the way people react to someone that looks good on the outside, they "allow" him to be a cunt more easily there is no backlash to his arrogance.
On the other hand If Brian would have the same conduct, everybody would tear him apart.

True...one finds sooo many posts critiquing Brian, calling him greedy, egoistical and what not. But because Roger seems to get no such criticism. Why is that?

Roger calls it as he sees it ... as an opinion.
He is not a weasel like Brian who insists that the Bo Rhap movie is an accurate portrayal of fact.
But ddn't Roger Taylor tell Piers Morgan the same thing: he's yet to see a check from the movie, so why single out Brian for claiming the same?
