Sylvester Stallone originally wanted Queen's Another One Bites the Dust in Rocky III and apparently had temped the song to the film but ultimately Queen refused it's use in the film by saying no to the publishing rights.
This led Stallone to seek out the band Survivor who ended up writing Eye of the Tiger for the film instead and the rest is history.

It's funny how nowadays their songs are used by pretty much every film/TV-show/ad/whatever that wants to use them and back then they said no to a fucking Rocky movie!
