Was It All Worth It. You hardly hear a peep about it anywhere. Their best effort of the 80s.

Also All God's People. It's taken years, but this has finally grown on me. The arrangement, production, all mint.

WIAWI is always flagged up during Miracle discussions, and more widely in discussions about the 'bad' 80s. AGP definitely still splits people though.

From that era I song I never liked at the time is I'm Going Slightly Mad. It was only about 5 or 6 years ago that I 'got' it. Mad solo, funny cool groove, very fun lyrics. Can imagine them having a great time with that one. Very curious single choice though. Can't get enough of it now.

I always thought one of the forgotten Queen songs was "You & I" as in my opinion it is Queen gold.
"All gods people" is a classic Queen sounding track, plenty of royal guitar playing from Brian and lots of mock opera style backing vocals it s underrated.

WIAWI is an amazing track. One of my favourites.

I'd go with The Hitman for the other. A belter!!!
This place used to be great, but now it is an absolute joke. For serious Queen discussion, please visit http://www.queenforum.net

WIAWI has historic significance, as I think we've said elsewhere here. Personally, I loved it from first hearing because if its "kitchen sink" feel. :-)

I'd go The Millionaire Waltz as most underrated Queen song, as even if it could never have been the commercial success Bohemian Rhapsody was, it IS very clearly a sister to that song and is in fact musically arguably more complex. The fact that no-one who isn't a Queen fan would have ever heard of it when you think how its sister-song regularly tops greatest song of all time polls and has been doing so since it was written over 40 years ago... well, I'm saying underrated myself.

You can argue any great album track is underrated though. My favourite two Queen songs, You Take my Breath Away and My Melancholy Blues aren't exactly well known!

I think Innuendo should be more well known. There's another track which is Bohemian Rhapsody levels. I'm not actually sure: would anyone who wasn't a true Queen fan have head of Innuendo?? If not, then that's the two songs I choose - The Millionaire Waltz & Innuendo.

Was it All Worth it is the best track on The Miracle... but even the best track on The Miracle isn't THAT great, even though I do like the Miracle more than The Works, A Kind Of Magic, Hot Space or Flash.

I love All God's People. I love the whole of the Innuendo album myself and don't think any track on it is poor. But I can understand if some Queen fans may enjoy it less as it does have a solo-Freddie feel to it as it was originally a solo-Freddie song.

As for Queen's best track of the '80's, I think I'd go Save Me myself. I think it is also my favourite Brian track. Though there are many other Brian tracks I love. Can I say how much I love the tiny but gorgeous Dear Friends here too. I know it's but seconds long, but that short wee song always makes me cry. In both Save Me and Dear Friends I find a really sweet spot created between the sweetness of Brian's lyrics and composition and the sweetness and emotion of Freddie's voice and delivery.

OK, I guess that's enough for now!

You And I
The Millionaire Waltz

This should have been a double A side single.

I think in terms of Innuendo album the track "Delilah" was pretty cheesy and very poor.
Queen could have put another rocker in its place, but that album had a strange ambience about it anyway.

Let a dying man write a love song to his cat, Gold! :p

Actually, I like Delilah as Freddie tends to refer to anything personal at best very obliquely in any song: he wasn't a person to write many songs completely uncomplicated-ly about something important to him in reality, but you know here's a song about his actual life unequivocally - a song for wee Delilah.

And musically I like Delilah too. Are you really gonna say it isn't fun to listen to Brian May making his guitar actually "Meow"?!?!??! It makes me giggle - y'know like a track like Seaside Rendezvous.

Speaking on that, a friend of mine who doesn't know Queen much was listening to A Night at the Opera recently and she was offended by Lazing on a Sunday Afternoon - she heard it for the first time for her and thought it sounded like Queen and I guess Freddie in particular were mocking The Kinks (Sunny Afternoon).... I wasn't sure quite what to say in reply. At least everything I did say didn't seem to convince her it wasn't a mean song, mocking The Kinks.

Every song on A Day At The Races shows off the band's writing skills but I think the three most underrated songs on the album are Long Away, Drowse and You And I. Spread Your Wings and It's Late from News Of The World join the most underrated league.

I think it's fair to say that the band have less underrated songs after Flash Gordon due to the group having less but longer songs and at least four songs released from the album instead of mostly two singles from an album in the 1970s. Though there are some great songs after that album, there are a lot more songs in the 1970s that are due more attention for not being singles.

All God's People I've tried to like but I don't enjoy it. I don't see the point of it. The album Innuendo is like marmite; you either love it or hate it. I understand how poignant the album is but I don't particularly like it.

The most underrated Queen song in my opinion is Spread Your Wings. It had a chance of being a hit as it was released as a single but wasn't. Despite this it still needs recognition as it was the first Queen single not to have any harmony or backing vocals which was a significant step for Queen as they could do a great song without it being too complicated.
