At the moment, all this is just a rumor, but the idea is very encouraging.

I was just gonna say: this damn rumor was all over the corporate news yesterday and gossip shows.
I don't watch much of either and i still managed to catch 3 stories on tv. So there's some steam in this one

The worst thing about all this is, the clueless are playing the OST in the office. Taking me further and further from the joyful innocence I had first listening to this stuff.
*breaks down in tears*

Merely the OST?
Lame.

Yeah - the live stuff sounds REALLY bad in the context of casual listening. I felt uncomfortable that someone thought I'd put it on. You know, because I'm older and camp.

Watch them have Mary at his bedside hand feeding him while leaving Jim, Joe and Phoebe out of it

I see a better movie the the first coming..
it is quite a story.. recording one vision... doing succesfully akom.. and their biggest tour.. getting diagnost with hiv.. recording miracle and you can get the music really lead the story. Wiawi? More recording.. freddie strugling with his disease and the press more revording.. see frddie going till the end singing those songs.. the end should be freddie singing mother love a capella... piano version of wwtlf For us to walk out of the cinema... man.. the whole cinema would be crying.

Fuck that. I have no interest in watching someone playing Freddie die onscreen, nor have I any interest in any Adam Lambert crap.

It's a shame they didn't have the foresight to make 2 films evenly split the story. Days Of Our Lives got it just right opening part 2 with the Flash sequence after the massive US success.
Condensing 15 years (give or take) into one film, and then having the remaining 6 in another is a bit lopsided. They would have to focus on one story sharply (obviously Freddie's plight and how the band pulled together) rather than live set pieces etc. The tone would be very different. Maybe the darker middle of a trilogy like Empire Strikes Back. And then the final crowning Return Of The Jedi film with Adam Lambert in the role of the Ewoks.

I remember the a Queen doc sometimes shown on Sky Arts which is about 50 mins and Freddie's death is about 20 mins in. The Phenomenon i think.

Followng the "logic" that makes up the storyline of the fiction that is "Bohemian Rhapsody", it's safe to assume that Freddie will go on to become the first person cured of AIDS on the first day of the new millennium via some kind of magical homeopathic (Vegan-friendly) treatment and go on to renounce the homosexual lifestyle of clubbing and drug-taking to then go on and front Queen at the 50th anniversary of Woodstock prior to marrying Mary Austin.
All this as a prelude to Episode III (directed by George Lucas) that sees the members of Queen combine their university degrees to successfully build a time machine and go back to 1978 for John to delete Mustapha from the Jazz master tape, Freddie decide that recording a soundtrack for a niche sci-fi movie isn't the greatest career move and Roger to anally insert a Black Cat Exploding Comet in to Paul Prenter.
Brian will, of course, visit Shrepreth Wildlife Park in 1984 and marry one of the resident Flamingos.
