Give some examples of brilliant guitar work that stand out in his live performances.
I'm no expert in bootlegs, so my examples resume to the familiar, like the solo from Back Chat at Milton Keynes 1982 or the solo from AKOM at Wembley 86 on Saturday...

He's not an improvisational player in the least. I'd go with something familiar that he meanders with all the time like WATC... but i also liked his good and error laden silos on that Jerry Lee Lewis live dvd. Spicy and quick

Millionaire Waltz from the 5/13 London show. He manages to emulate a piccolo after the first verse

Hi, something left of centre perhaps, bu I've always been intrigued by whatever Brian does to get the weird, distorted bell tones at about 8:30 in Brighton Rock

I think he does something similar in other shows on the Japan tour. I also like the way he gets Sakura into the solo as well

He might be picking close to the bridge to get that 'plink' sound.

Killer Queen and It's late solos from Rotterdam 30-01-79.
Brighton rock and spread your wings Vancouver 78
His playing at Knebworth is awesome
Liar from Himeji 76!
And extra licks all over during the Japanese 79 concerts make up for FM's horrible shape.
Sun city HTF is wicked.
There's also a London 84 show where he plays fantastic and frantic during Jailhouse rock.
Too numerous to list!
on my way up
