Actually, fair point - if there are loads of out takes from any 70s album (say, like the raw takes / some of the 2011 bonus material - just drums, bass, guitar, vocals 'as live' in the studio) would we prefer they released them as they are, or with RT and BM finishing them, or at least adding new parts to make them more palatable?

I think I'd go for release them as is. Even if they are missing the vocal I'd really love to hear them - the stuff we have from conventions is generally great.

Who knows - maybe I'd go so far as to suggest flying in a vocal take from the released version if the backing is suitably different. I dunno I'm sure they've thought of everything.

Either way - a disc of material played at conventions would BE SUPER.

OK As you were.

Dyson Yeah i agree with you Queen productions should start getting there fingers out and wake up because they know there is a lot more to be released. So Vocal Harmony is arguing now with Freddie who said there was a lot more from A Night At The Opera that then never used! She thinks she knows it all and truth is she knows sweet f*ck all as per.

Post a link to this interview you claim to have read.

I think we know that his reading skills aren't quite watertight.

The local half wit. . . . Maybe?

No I'm not arguing with Freddie, but I'm not taking the view that what he may have said actually meant that there is a stack of recorded finished songs which you seem to believe.

There could be a completed song that wasn't used, there could be a couple recorded to tape live, the band just basically rehearsing with rough unusable vocals, there could be a couple of piano parts or guitar riffs, who knows but I think anyone who believes there's a vault of unused ANATO songs recorded and ready to release is barking up the wrong tree. . . . . Or maybe just barking!

i never said the unheard songs were finished i said they were not used for that album.
Read my posts if your capable ! Talking of half wits look in the mirror darling.

I obviously did read your post. You said there was loads of stuff left over. You didn't talk about how advanced or not it may have been, I did and anything that they decide to use, if there is anything, would need more than just a very rough vocal and a reasonable quality recording.

As i said I doubt there is much usable material from that album left. Most of the songs they recorded took ages particularly vocally and guitar wise so I think stuff that wasn't deemed suitable was dumped early on.

No, I think you're a dimwit and possibly a liar. But you can easily prove you're not a liar (in this instance) by posting the link so we can all read what Freddie said. Otherwise I'll assume you are, as usual, full of shit.

So, as I suspected, there is no Freddie interview and you just made it up. You are full of shit.

It's over. Move on. He's now in another thread arguing that Suzi Quatro was the first female bass player.
· Member since
Dysan Suzi Quatro is the most famous female rock bassist.
She influenced more people than any other female.
Chrissie Hynde, Joan Jett, are two of the people who greatly admire Quatro.
Suzi is also a Honoary Doctorate of Music. She is a real musician who has worked damned hard for what she has.

I don't deny her influence, but you said 'first'. Which is clearly nonsense.
· Member since
What is nonsense ? Suzi was the first female bassist and probably the most famous to attack the charts in 1973 which was a male dominated enviroment back then.
How many more female rockers who were very famous back then can you name?
