My daughter happened to be in Japan when this was released and picked up a copy for me.
I am old and struggle with torrents and stuff and also I have been a poor single parent for many years and had no money to buy (many) bootlegs. so I hadn’t heard it before.
The sound mix is awful. The guitar is buried under the bass and keys, and I’m not sure the mix of their voices does them justice.
But It’s always nice to see or hear a new concert - I love Queen. But I love Queen live more.

as far as i was able to look this up, this release is just the upscale bootleg we all have already, with no audio or video upgrade whatsoever, a total money grab...

Are you sure? According to Gary Taylor the video quality is better:

Gary Taylor did comment about this, but its not showin' footage, this spanish speakin' video did showed some footage and looks the about the same as the dvd release I own by the same publisher, but up-scaled https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BFGXxaP_0Zk

Screenshots looks better than previous versions. It can be excellent with some magical touches, imho :)

It's literally the same as the 2004 DVD. Yeah, it has a slightly contrast and sharpness boost. But that's it. Nothing substantial. Not an upgrade worth noting in my eyes.
And yes, I compared frame by frame.

Some Japan 85 songs were uploaded to the official YouTube account a while back in HD, I don't recall the quality looking any better than the official DVD that was previously released. I guess that's just life with a SD upgrade [/QUOTE]
Why would it? It was originally shot on SD video. There's no real improvement in upscaling SD to HD, your own TV can do that!

So called "standard definition" video can be remastered you know!

I just came along a 'free copy' of this BluRay bootleg and thank God it had 24 bit 48 kHz lossless audio track, so I started to remaster it. My plan is to sync it up to the 1080i video.
I read somewhere that there is a better audio source of this show which is actually an FM broadcast. Do you know where I could find it in WAV / FLAC (or any other lossless format)?
