Thanks for the update, Thor. We appreciate when you can pop in, but also understand you have other things you need to focus on now. Glad to hear you will be able to fit in some celebrating rather soon. Fingers crossed for continued improvements every day!

Thor, it’s great you were able to drop in with an update, you have been on all of our minds for sure! It’s so unfortunate that you had to go through such an ordeal but we will all keep you in our thoughts and pray for a FULL, QUICK recovery!

Thanks for the update, Thor. Although two steps forward (no drainage) is offset by one step back (tight painful sutures), at least you are finally making progress rather than having your recovery continue to run in neutral (or worse).

Do the doctors have an explanation as to why your latest surgery has helped move your recovery forward (although "painfully" slow)?

Please take care of yourself and do not push yourself too hard and risk another relapse.

As long as the book is in my ungrateful hands by x-mas, I will forgive you for having knee surgery ... LOL

Thor, good to see you pop in with an update! Hope you continue to make progress with the knee and this is all in your rear view mirror soon. Sounds like you've got some fun ahead of you and it is certainly well deserved! Make some progress on the book, but then put that in the background for a while and go have some real fun. You've earned it!

Chevy...Bring some Queen music with you to the cabin and have a sing-a-long. Everyone loves singing to Bohemian Rhapsody. Have someone video it...you will have a good memory and something to laugh at later on!

ThereUHI....Instead of starting with Queen's first album, reading all the song descriptions, then moving on to the next album, I skipped all around and picked out my favorite songs...just like I do with a box of chocolates. I will pass over the songs I don't care for...much like I leave the chocolates with cherries in them. :)

Chevy, I think Rainbow's advice is excellent--BoRap around the campfire, or in the cabin--whatever. Just have fun!

Rainbow, I thought about doing just the songs I know, but I really wanted to hear all of them--dogs, or as we say here in Texas, dawgs--included. I slogged through "Jazz" (though I've also been busy), next is "The Game" and so it goes. I suspect you know more of the songs than I do and I wanted a full range. I must say, I found some songs that I really like that were quite unknown to me, so my exercise in Queen discography has paid off in my learning. Even if I have to put up with the dawgs.

Yeah I hear you guys this is gonna be my last weekend so I'm gonna get tore up and show them how its done.I can out drink any man you put before me.Plus we do have karaoke so after you get so drunk it doesnt matter what you sound like.Its all good.Rainbow, that's a wonderful idea about Queens music I just dont know how many Queen fans there are.Cant believe Thor gonna have a drink or two what's wrong with you.He is a light weight I bet that's okay though.Thereyouhaveit,we build a big bonfire outside and play truth or dare.I always take the dare I like living on the edge I guess.I have done some embarrassing things while intoxicated or stoned so I never take truths.Have a nice weekend my beautiful people.

Hi Chevy, it's been quite busy for me at home and work. And you guys are pretty active on here that it's hard to keep up with all the posts! Hope you enjoy your last weekend at the cabin and that it’s stress free. I like Rainbow’s idea to have a singalong to Queen music. Might end up karaoke and a dance-a-thon! :)

Thereuhaveit, Queen has so many hits and songs that it’s hard to know which album it came from. Rainbow had another great idea to pick your favorites and take it from there.
