A very happy Veterans Day to all those on Queen Zone who have served their country, both active duty and retired. Thank you for your service!

Where’s Thor’s posts? Those are the only posts we want to see, not the random nonsense. Take that to private messaging.

I have to second MisterCosmicc. This thread is becoming a weird discussion/diary of the same few, most of which is completely irrelevant to dear Thor and his relationship with Freddie, thus making it uninteresting to most. I come here periodically in hopes of learning something new about Freddie but instead keep scrolling down random stuff I don't care about. The first threads by Thor were excellent and informative, but it seems like we completely lost focus here....

Little Freddie paid homage to the fallen of WWI (as well as to the fallen of all other conflicts) yesterday (Armistice Day /Remembrance Sunday)
He would like to extend this homage to his U.S. friends to commemorate Veterans Day.

MisterCosmicc and RadiocCaCa :
Then skip over those posts! Don't read them and wait until there is a fresh post from Thor and/or Lee.

Freddie Darling,I second that the rudeness is silly.Thor is busy and so is Lee.They have busy lives outside this thread I assume and its gonna get busier once their book is out. They probably wont be be posting as much as they used too. This was created to be a friendly place for people to chill.Lets keep it that way have a nice day.

Amen, Chevyman !
This thread is usually a happy, fun place to be. We share our little Queen/Freddie discoveries and yes, sometimes we even veer off the subject for a little while. But, so what? Variety is, as they say, the spice of life.
I'm sure that Thor and Lee don't mind that every single post isn't about their forthcoming book.
As they are both rather busy with both the publication of their book, and the business and trials and tribulations of their everyday lives. The thread would be rather stagnant and barren if the good people of this thread hadn't diversified a little in their topics of discussion.
So, personally I'm all for the posts we have been getting lately. The only posts I dislike are the occasional ones we get from the, thankfully infrequent trolls. Those I choose to ignore, as life is too short to spare them a moment of it!
Have a lovely Monday, peeps.
Kindest Regards

hi all way too many posts to attempt to even try and join in but just wanted to add that I think 'don't try suicide is a fab song ' . It's a song that takes on the serious nature of suicide but turns it into a black comedy, showing it as a cry for attention instead of a plea for help.
Regarding David Minns I got the impression that he felt the song was about his attempted suicide but that is just pure speculation as this has never been confirmed. Of course David was going through a hard time and i can see how he would assume it was in reference to him but it is also noted that the building the studio was in, in Munich was also a known suicide spot so it could easily be with reference to that. I imagine it was a combination of things tbh.
Today I received 'Queens illustrated lyrics ' which is a fantastic book and one I would recommend. It contains lots of written lyrics and photo's . I got my copy from e bay.
Thor and Lee I hope you are well :)

Good point Freddie Darling and Doughnut I'm glad to here your perspective on Dont try suicide that's a more positive view of it.

With so many posts about Don't Try Suicide I've been kind of forced to re-evaluate my thinking on it. I guess because suicide has touched my life through friends' chilldren, parents of former students, and in one case family, I thought it was an abhorrent song. St. Jiub is the first one who got me to take another look. Others have been positive and now Doughnut, I really like your perspective. One of the things I really appreciate about this thread is the chance to hear from others, and to change my thinking based on their observations. Thanks to all of you for sharing.

Katy it's easy to see it has an obhorrent song if the subject has touched your life. From my perspective my brother recently tried to take his own life but I can relate to the song in the positive.
I also really enjoy listening to 'death on two legs' .....perhaps that speaks volumes about me lol

I believe Cosmic and Radio make a good point. I sometimes tire of scrolling/scanning past non-Freddie posts, and I have sometimes missed relevent info because of the small talk.
Thor has posted a reminder a while back about cutting back on conversational "PM-like" replies. On the other hand, I admit to being slightly hypocritical by tangentally discussing DTS in this topic.
Is it possible that a new thread could be opened in the Personal section to reduce the frequency of the small talk in Thor's topic?
On a gaming site I partake in, there is general topic twiiter topic about tweets from the gaming company employees. When posters get off topic (like discussing obscure gaming lore from three games ago), the moderaters would often start a new topic and move the discussion there.
