LOL, Jo, I wasn't clear. I know you don't work at a school. I thought it was fun that your director took a time-honored school tradition and had you decorate doors in a business situation.

Jo T! Love it! So glad you won! And so glad you chose to share it. I would have voted for you. O condom tree. Haha. Too good. Pinterest... hmmmm.

I was just playing the opening of Montreal somebody to Love for a coworker who was talking about impressive vocal ability. :—))))

Greetings from "freezing" New York...I arrived in the late evening to 18 degrees F (with a wind/chill making it feel like 9 degrees F due to high winds). The winds in Manhattan amplify at every street corner...BRRRR!
I am now at my sister's house on Long Island for Christmas. She has every room in her house lit with beautiful displays, three Christmas trees, and some good cooking!
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas or Happy Chanukah and a bright and fulfilling New Year.
Love you guys,
Thor

Thor, we had the bitter cold a bit earlier this week, but it's practically balmy now. You should get that within a day or two as we send our weather east. Your sister's house sounds wonderful! I've always wished I had the room to put up multiple trees. Enjoy your family and the home cooking. I hope you make some wonderful memories with your family.

In order to get the whole family together we celebrated today. It was wonderful fun! I got three canvas prints of Freddie so I'm thrilled. I gave Quality Street candies to two family members and two friends. Of course I had to send them a picture of Freddie holding a canister of the candy. I don't exactly force them to indulge in my passion, but I do like to give a gentle nudge when I can.

Hope everyone is enjoying the season!!

Hi Thor. I guess living in balmy San Diego does not prepare you for the rigors of winter in the Northeast! LOL But then again, some of us who live here are not always prepared either. The other day I went to work not knowing it was going to snow. When I left at the end of the day, I had to walk through the snow to get to my car. Then I opened the car door to get the brush and a bunch of snow fell on my back seat. (Rookie mistake...I knew better) I stood in 5 inches of snow in my clogs while brushing off the car...feet were quite wet by the time I drove home, but I popped in one of my Queen CDs on the drive back and all was good! Sounds like your sister knows how to make Christmas beautiful and special. Enjoy your visit.

Katydyd5...I love your "gentle nudge" technique. Glad to hear your family indulges your Freddie passion...sounds like you received some very thoughtful gifts.

JB050 and Delilah...Thanks for the link to The Peanuts singing Bohemian Rhapsody...that was fun.

Today my husband and I went to St.Joseph's Oratory in Montreal to listen to a Christmas concert given by "Les Petits Chanteurs", an all boy's choir. The highlight was the final song "O Holy Night" (Minuet Chretien). The young soloist's voice was divine! After the show we stood on the balcony of the church and looked out at the night lights of the city. St. Joseph's is located on the highest point of Montreal. The building towers over everything in the area and the view is amazing.

A very Merry Christmas/ Happy Hanukkah/ and Season's Greetings to QueenZone folk all around the world. Here's to a wonderful 2020 for all of us!
