Thank you Amidds (SniffsU !) for being concerned about my Mitzy (yes, you spelled it correctly)

Things are still up in the air.

She seems in pretty good health really apart from being fed up wearing her Buster collar.

The biopsy and CT scan she had last Monday weren't entirely conclusive, but show that she does have a mass in the left inguinal region which is quite likely to be sarcoma (hopefully low grade),

I have been referred to another vet , who is one of the top veterinary oncology surgeons in Britain, on Wednesday, and I'm praying that he will be willing and able to remove the tumour with a good "clean" margin and hope for a cure. There may be radiation treatment and metronomic chemotherapy involved, too. I just don't know what will happen until I see him.

There is a very slight hope it could be a dense , diffuse haematoma, but I doubt we will be that lucky.

I'm exhausted with worry as she is my baby, and I am heartbroken at the thought of losing her. She is the very centre of my world and my little soul mate.

Prayers for her health would be most appreciated.

Thanks for the GFM update, Thor and Lee. It'll be worth the wait for a book that finally meets your standards and specifications. After all, we - the readers - shall be the ultimate beneficiaries. You've both worked long and hard and poured your heart and soul into it. Of course, you want it to be perfect. After all, your names are attached to it - as well as an ISBN!

I never complain about Thor and Lee, I’d just rather read their stuff than to read this nonsense. However, that’s not why I made my comment.

Due to the length of the thread, and all the numbers on the main page on the forum, it takes too much space on the screen. I think a new thread is in order for chit chat. Saint Juib had done that, but it was largely ignored. A new thread should be in order for Thor and Lee as well.., as this thread itself was created due to the old one getting too big and causing a mess on the forum. This one is the same way. People want to read Thor and Lee’s replies without having to sift through random nonsense.

Mister, I understand your concern handsome but a few pages back I think Thor said he was gonna set something up once things were completed.Im not sure but that might be why he buts updates on the donation website so folks can see them and donate if they would like at the same time.That site is still active for that purpose and running.If you will notice he himself also makes posts about casual chit chat about what he is up too in his life.That leads me to believe he doesnt mind as long as we keep it clean and respect others.We discuss Freddie and music that's what this thread is about.Im sure he will set something up for discussions until then let's be nice everyone has to experience such bs everywhere else it's nice to be able to let down somewhere cant you agree.

Thor, thanks for the update, I do hope that you are able to make the changes you want and love that you are putting so much into this. I’m sure it will show when it all finally comes together!

Hello guys isn't it terrible about the animals being killed by the wild fires being set delibertely.I hope they have caught who is responsible and they are punished.I cant hardly stand to watch the news footage of the little koalas they look so innocent.How could anyone do this?There is only one thought that comes to my mind and it's that they are true sociopaths to hurt innocent animals.

I just saw this on FB. I've never been a big fan of Peter Straker, but it doesn't matter what I think. He and Freddie were great friends and that is what is important. I think what I found most interesting here is how Straker has aged. I believe he was several years older than Freddie though I'm not certain, but I simply can't imagine Freddie in his 70's. I've seen the age progressions but they don't help me visualize it. Anyway, this seems to be some kind of tribute to Freddie.

Katydyd, I havent seen that thanks Straker still looks pretty well for his age.You know they age Freddie with all this hair .His hair was getting a little cute bald spot in the back when he was touring at the last.I dont think he would have all of his hair but one things for certain he still would be Freddie.Thanks for the link.

Katydyd...I had not seen that video before. I love it when anyone honors Freddie by singing his songs. I have to admit though, I paid greater attention to the fact that the video seemed to be a composite of two different shows. In the long shots, Peter is wearing a suit coat with a pin on the lapel. In the close shots, the suit coat is gone and the sleeves are unbuttoned, yet it was put together to look like one seamless performance.

Last summer, there was a lot of great discussion among those who attended Queen + AL concerts. This year, Queen is touring in Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Korea, and UK/Europe. I really hope some of you who attend those shows will share your reviews here. If you have followed this thread, but haven't jumped in yet, that would be a great way to start! Last year, I was excited for months leading up to the show...it did not disappoint. All of you ticket holders are in for a BIG treat. As always, I think the conversations that draw people to this thread the most are Freddie/Queen focused.
