Agreed Chevyman, and thanks for saying “the others “ although losing Kobe and his daughter is horrific, there were 7 others including another family as well as a mother/daughter.

Lsgp, It breaks my heart for all those family members involved.I dont know how you handle something like that tragedy.

Hope you don't mind if I flip this back to the coin discussion but, for those who may have still been deciding if you still wanted to purchase one of the coins, I got mine today and it's pretty cool! It comes in a cardboard CD-type cover which opens up to include a short history, pics album covers and a small poster. I will attach some pics. I think it's rather well done for a coin. Especially when you add on the shipping charges for the US.

I finally received my Queen coin today. It was actually heavier and shiner than I expected, as it was not one of the high value coins. Amidds, I bought the same cover you did because I like to see Freddie in motion. In that "jumping off the stage" picture, he looks like he is having a blast! This is a fun memento to have. So glad I bought it. Instead of tucking it away in a drawer, I propped it up against the side of my computer desk where I will see it every day.

In addition...I learned some "Brit Speak" while reading the inner history notes. There was a sentence I read once, then reread a couple more times because it didn't make any sense to me: "The concert overran and the police put paid to an encore...." I had never heard the expression "put paid to" before. Looked it up online and discovered that "put paid to" is a British idiom that means to terminate, to cancel, or to stop something once and for all. Now it makes sense!
