Good news on a 3rd draft. Yes Katyd, getting closer. I have coffee table books on Led Zeppelin, Sophia Loren,an Audrey Hepburn, so the “ NYDaughters and Freddie coffee table book is a welcome addition that will sit on top.
My hairdresser is so anxious to see it when I get it. I told him to donate....but the businessman he is, he wants to see mine first then buy it. Oh well, I tried.....I explained RARE photos of Freddie should be all the reason it’s a success, just donate.
Forgot to the list, the Queen in 3D book too. By Brian May. Btw, he was provoked by an obnoxious reporter in Australia, and in Brians face. Brian put that guy in his place, so the Australian media made it appear out of context as Brian being the bully.
Any word on the Torpedo Twins, rudi dolezal is still creating a more realistic documentary or movie? After seeing bohemian rhapsody he said he was prepared to make his own.
@Lsgp03, till you mentioned it, I hadn't even considered the placement of Thor and Lee's book on my living room's coffee table. I assumed it would land on a bookshelf. However, it IS a professed "coffee table-style book." My coffee table currently holds a couple of books on Ansel Adams' photography but has room for more books, including Thor and Lee's. Like you, I also own Brian May's "Queen in 3-D." It hadn't even dawned on me to store the book - along w/ the 3-D viewer - on my coffee table. That's a great idea!
I have a crazy idea. After we all receive our long-awaited copies, why don't we post photos of Thor and Lee's book - ON OUR COFFEE TABLES?! Is that a lame idea or what? LOL
About Rudi Dolezal, I don't follow him on social media nor do I have plans, but I'm aware of others in a FB group who follow him on IG and/or FB. He appears to have responded to their questions and/or comments. If you're interested, you may want to consider following him on social media to keep up on his latest developments.
Thor and Lee, I understand why you would want the graphics or photos to meet your aesthetic expectations. If that means a 4th or 5th draft, then so be it. It'll be worth the wait.

I'm very excited that Thor and Lee's book is progressing and I love to see his updates. As mentioned in previous posts, it would be nice to keep this thread clear for that purpose so that people can easily find updates and share supportive thoughts with Thor.
However, a nice community has developed here over the months and it would be unfortunate for that to end. Frankly I miss you guys and I miss our conversations about Freddie and life in general. I'd like to find a way for that to continue in another place. I'm way out of my comfort zone here, but I'm going to go ahead and start a new thread on the "Personal Forum" called Friendly Chat. The Personal Forum is easy to find. It is one of the last forums listed and was created for anything and everything. Moving there will allow our general Freddie chit chat and sharing to move to a more appropriate place. I am hoping friends old and new and those who have only quietly followed us will join us there. All are welcome!
I'd also like to extend a welcome for Thor and Lee to stop by and say "hi". A quick nod would be lovely.

Okay first of all there needs to be a "go to end" button because since I've been gone a while I click on the thread and it starts at page 1.
I have been reading all the messages that Thor has posted on the GoFundMe page. I know one thing despite perfection not being possible, but Freddie always shot for it in his shows, so he would expect no less from Thor and Lee. Excellence is great. It's good that you are doing so many drafts it means you truly care and that makes the absolute best books especially on the life of such an interesting fascinating man.
I keep hearing about this Carrie Fisher and Freddie being lovers rumors and I just don't understand where they are coming from.
ANYWAY good luck Thor and Lee. I know you are doing a great book and I'm willing to be patient to get it perfect. Have you or Lee talked to Peter Freestone lately? Does he know about the book?
This sounds a whole lot like you are quitting the forums? Is that true? I hope not though I'm not on much I still know it's here and that I can get in touch with Thor and Lee this way without bothering them. I hope there is another thread praising the book once released! I hope there is another thread from you two as long as you are able.

It's good to hear from all of you I miss you guys I just get insanely busy and haven't been on much. I am one of the "Queen and Freddie authorities" on Quora. I don't know how that happened but it did so I get requests for all kinds of questions but I only answer ones that haven't been answered and ones which I know things about. Freddie is easy I have studied him I have a Master's degree in Freddie facts lol......
Jo quick Question am I the only one who gets nervous about the 3D book because it gets finger prints on the pages so easily.I bought Queen the complete Illustrated lyrics but it looks like that book might fall apart quickly so I'm scared to even open it.
I know this book will go on my coffee table or idk on display in my house. I also adore Ansel Adams. that man was super talented I have a couple of pics of his on my walls Everyone stay healthy and watch out for any germies.
