Thor, Yes it did upset me and I wish you would stop talking about it please it makes it worse.Its fine it's over with we are good.

Thor...How long will your knee surgery put you out of commission? I know that recovery times seem to be much faster nowadays compared to the past. I guess this means Lee will be going down to visit you instead! Will it be a while before you can drive again?

JB050...I was curious about what Freddie books/videos/CD's my local library system has (32 libraries covering 3 counties...mostly rural libraries) 1) Freddie Mercury, the greatest showman (video) 2) Somebody to Love: The Life, Death, and Legacy of Freddie Mercury(book) 3) Bohemian Rhapsody (movie) 4) Queen: Album by Album (book) 5) Freddie and Me: A Coming of Age Bohemian Rhapsody (comic book)

I was disheartened to learn they do not even have ONE Queen CD...how is that possible? My tax dollars are obviously not working the way they should! LOL

The last knee replacement went very well and I could walk and drive after 3- 4 days post-op.
And yes, Lee is coming down to pick me up at the hospital, probably on the very next day,

Good luck with the surgery Thor! Both of my knees have been replaced and the second was even easier than the first. I wish the same for you.

I posted previously that after listening to a documentary on Freddie with Ear buds in prior to sleep....Freddie came to me in a dream. It was Very realistic, and while most dreams fade, I still vividly remember this most amazing moment!!
I did try again falling asleep with Ear buds and Freddie content playing....but did not have another Freddie meet up!!!....but I shall keep trying!

Thor, best of luck on your recovery from your knee surgery!! I've always heard knee were tougher to recover from than hips.

This is Munich 1986, supposedly before the concert and after Freddie visits friends in Munich. Obviously NOT happy and not in a good mood at all. Listen to the first few seconds how he starts Lap of the Gods. It’s and audio, not a visual. I read in Queenlive.ca that night he found out friends were dying, and Winnie was giving him a hard time, that the mood of the concert was like this. But much better the next night they played. (2 nights in Munich)

Lsgp, I had heard that clip before and must have read the same piece you did. I imagine there was a lot going on in his life and mind in 1986. I can't imagine the fear he was facing as he watched friends dying.

On another note, here's a clip where he's just angry, and with good reason. He was such a perfectionist this must have driven him nuts.

By the way, hopefully that link is live. Galileo told us that all you have to do to create a live link is take out the "s" after http. Usually that works.

Katydyd5, Oops, he was quite angry. The whistling was annoying though. There was also feedback in the video Lsgp03 sent too. Technology isn’t always as perfect as we would want. Anything could go wrong at the wrong time. Thanks to both of you for the links. :)
