Rainbow- it’s also so nice to see more about the town and individuals, and how they came off strike to get the bus-shuttles together. What amazing community and humanity. These stories are so heartwarming and reassuring. Ok I’m done, for now, I promise. :))

For those who may be interested, here's the North American tour schedule for "Come From Away" (https://comefromaway.com/tickets.php?content=tixtour). Of course, it's simultaneously playing on Broadway, too.

Rainbow, the soundtrack is fantastic! I'll have to watch the YouTube doc you recommended. Lee, it's great to hear from you! I'll see "CFA" later in the month and hope to catch your actor friend, Michael Dunn, in it.

Thor AND Lee both on QZ in one day?! - Great to see you both!! Thor you must be feeling better I hope? Lee we've missed you and your humor on here

So exciting to hear the updates on the book!

FreddieDarling: Bob's your Uncle? Is that a British saying? I kinda love it

Lovely to hear from Lee, and Thor!! Good to hear that the book is ticking along nicely.

Amidds, nah, don't feel badly not noticing the full reply option. We all have a tendencies to slip into our comfort patterns. As my Nan would have said upon learning anything new, "another wrinkle, rub it in" :-) (she's then rub her forearm)

And yes, we will definitely have to start up in parnership. I rather like the apathetic business name ! That will be our U.S.P. It'll be a lottery as to whether we get the job done, or not! :-D

NotQuiteAShilling, I didn't know "Bob's your uncle" was specifically a British saying (though I'm not surprised, we seem to have an obscure saying for nearly everything!) It sometimes continues with "Fanny's your Aunt" :-) And, of course it basically means, to quote our lovely Freddie "and there you have it" !G

Hope everyone is well, and having a good week. I received my new Queen book"Queen the Ultimate History of the Crown Kings of Rock" by Phil Sutcliffe (revised and updated) I heartily recommend it. Great text and lovely pictures!

Thor, you really should see Come From Away. You'll laugh and you'll cry, but what I loved so much was the restoration of my faith in humanity. We need this show right now.

Quick update:
Bleeding from my right knee is down to just a very small amount. Three more weeks left of self-administered, around the clock IV antibiotics.
Physical therapy finally starts next week. Pain has decreased to about half of what it was the last two weeks. I see my surgeon tomorrow
and the Infectious Disease MD on Thursday to determine if I can stop the antibiotics and maybe change to just oral antibiotics.
Lee has been an absolute doll and is doing most of the work on our book that I can not handle until I can spend more time "sitting" at the
computer. Now, I can only handle about 2 half-hour periods per day.
I am hoping to make a work visit with Lee by the end of the month!
Thank you all for keeping up the thread...I have been following!
Love ya,
Thor

Greetings Thor,

Wow…this has been quite the ordeal! Glad things are finally heading in the right direction though. Your nursing skills must really come in handy, as I imagine many people would not necessarily be comfortable self-administering IV antibiotics. Best to you as you continue on your "healing journey"! Looking forward to when you and Lee can join us again, and as always, appreciate the updates from both of you.

Wow Thor, that sounds horrible! After talking to "my" nurse, I'm gonna say it doesn't sound like anything you did wrong and I hope the doctors/hospital are doing all they can to rectify this for you! What a shame!! It's nice that Lee is available to help you out so much! After your recovery and you've got the book completed, hopefully you guys will have more time to tell us about the process. It sounds fascinating and much more complicated than I ever would have assumed!

JB - you're hired! Any thoughts on relocating to England or wherever FreddieDarling lives? I love the lingo and laugh every time an "arse", "cheeky bugger" or whatever is thrown out there.

FD - you are the creative one - we need tshirts advertising our company. Maybe with a silhouette of Freddie and a blurb of "we'll get to you after we're done discussing Freddie". That does imply never does it not?

Have an awesome day everyone!

Wow Thor, this has been quite the journey. Since you have previous experience with a knee replacement you know your troubles are atypical. I'm so sorry you are dealing with so many issues with what you had hoped would be just a bump in the road. It was fortunate that you realized that the swelling and pain were not the norm and thus you acted quickly. Hopefully you can be switched to oral antibiotics and that you will be able to gain some mobility soon. I think you've got the perfect team partner in Lee and that comes from the blessing of a lifelong friendship.

As for keeping up the thread, it's been really enjoyable. Many of the newer people who post now came on after you had stepped away. I know you will enjoy getting to know them upon your return, and I KNOW they are looking forward to getting to know you.

We try to stay on topic and if you look, we bring Freddie into most conversations in one way or another. Sometimes we stray a bit, but Freddie and Queen will always be the main focus.

Take care of yourself!
