Queen's music would be alive no matter what, but it is in a different realm now due to the touring and the movie. Yea, they do need Adam as he is the only singer in the world that can sing the entire catalog and be credible and consistent. By the way over half of the music in this tour was written by Roger and Brian so I don't get the "Freddie's cost" crap. It is also their music and you can bet that Freddie's estate gets a cut of everything. Are you a friend or relative of Freddie because you sure seem overly concerned with him? Only living artists can perform tours, thus it isn't an option for Freddie, so I don't see how it detracts from him at all. They didn't tour because they couldn't find the right person to front the band and now that they have, Roger and Brian can once again perform which is what they love to do and has been their entire life. Most of the world loves the QAL tours, so you are in a very, very, very tiny minority of haters! Aren't you proud?

Oh my.
I think AL needs the Queen legacy more than Brian and Roger need AL.
Are you pissed that Freddie’s estate gets money or something.
A.so, boo hoo, you clearly want AL to get credit from Queen fans, while more than once you complained about Freddie.
Hate to tell you, Brian and Roger did tour before AL.

They both need each other equally to tour in the manner of the Rhapsody tour. It doesn't work without the two halves. Of course, Freddie's estate should earn the money, but you guys always act as if something is being stolen from him which I don't understand. Honestly you and some of the other haters act as if you are personally related to him, otherwise I have no idea why you get so upset about what you consider to be slights. I just think it is awful how the haters talk about Adam and denigrate Roger and Brian. If that is a group that you loved, don't get the hate for Brian and Roger. Many, many of the statements here are less than flattering. I just don't feel that Freddie is the god that most of you make him out to be. No one is. Of course they toured before, but these QAL tours are quite something and getting the best reviews and accolades of their lives, playing in places they never did before. I am sure with all the new technology it is great fun for Brian and Roger. Adam is also very easy to get along with, according to Brian and Roger which makes touring fun! Freddie sounded as if he could be difficult and not "on" every night which can make the experience a little less enjoyable. There are probably a lot less worries touring with Adam. Probably part of the reason Brian and Roger always look so happy on stage!

Another Posting from you stupid asscunt where you try to put Freddie down while bigging your fave assclown up. Freddie was difficult? If you stupid bitch had any clue about Queen you would know that the most difficult Queen member was always May. He was the Diva of the band. Freddie was the diplomat who kept it all together. May has always been envious of Freddie because he was the focus and the better songwriter. Now he can call himself the leader of this dead Queen tribute band with no creative power whatsoever. Nonetheless he has to sell this shitty product by excusing himself with the laughable "Freddie would have loved it". So Freddies ghost is hunting him until today and he hates it. Freddie on the screens is getting the loudest cheer each night which says it all.....

Can you reply w/o profanity or is that too hard for you.? You are such a nasty piece of work. I think you are using revisionist history. I have seen a lot of documentaries and I know Brian and Freddie sparred, but it seems like Freddie soaked up all the sunshine and the others were back there in the shade. I can understand Brian's feelings and I am sure he was also justified. It wasn't only Freddie that made up the band regardless of what you think. From the things I watched on TV, Freddie's lifestyle choices caused a lot of issues. It was hard to know how he would show up on the stage. You can only indulge so much in drugs and that kind of lifestyle wo/ its taking a toll on your health and it certainly did. I had not seen that he was the diplomat and coming from you it is probably a lie anyway. Diva was more the word I heard and that was from one of his longtime boy friends. Divas are never easy to deal with.

Tribute bands are not composed of original members ever. It is still a form of Queen, just a different incarnation. I suppose if one spent that many years with another person, I would believe that person and not you. Esp. since we have already established that all you do here is lie. The Freddie moments are big ones, but some of the other songs got huge applause also. I have listened to all but one of the new shows, and I doubt you have, so how could you possibly know? Your Freddie obsession is just over the top, dude!
Get a grip!

Adam’s last six singles haven’t charted. I can see why he always has record label issues.

Snifflese we get your hate for Freddie you sad POS but dont try to rewrite history like Maylor do. Read rhe books and watch the Videos available. Freddie was an unreliable druggie for you. Fine you sad cunt. The only time he Partied too hard b4 a show was during the NZ/aussie tour 1985. Apart from that he was the ultimate pro. You watched this crappy movie too often you sad twat. Listen to the Interview with MACK from last year. You will find out that May was the most difficult to work with and he always envied Freddie. I am sure you will return with more inane drivel. You have no clue about Queen you sad fuckwhit

They did not chart because they failed to promote them but because they are musically terrible and suck. End of story. Lamefarts solo career is over. One should Think that he should be a megastar by all the hype he got from QAL. But noone gives a rats ass about him and his shitty music

I truly think AL needs Brian and Roger, I doubt he'd be where he is now without them and the Queen legacy. For example, I doubt AL could sell out MSG or Wembley by himself.
As for Freddie being a God. ..I'm glad he wasn't. He was a remarkable talent, taken too soon. I'm not going to judge the guy for what he did. Your smugness oozes from your posts, you seem very judgemental about Freddie. And you don't like what is said about AL sometimes by certain people. The double standard you have going on.
I wonder how much of Freddie and Queen you have actually watched. I assume it's not much at all. All thiese years later I've never seen a band or artist that had the chemistry that Freddie’s and the other members of Queen had. Q+AL doesn’t come close to having that.
Before you rant again about Freddie and the attention he got onstage, who is it again who lost two or three record deals in the space of less than a decade? Who is it that's riding on cover songs coattails? Who has put Q+AL before his own music? AL that's who.
You bleat on about AL not getting credit, while trying to knock Freddie down for his lifestyle and how he was onstage.
IBig up AL all you want. Thankfully there are some realists here. You think AL hung the moon.

NO, I went to see the movie just to count how many errors there were.
You made us laugh, you made us cry, you made us feel like we could fly!

There's lots of young people going but they are fans in the sense they saw the movie and got interested in Queen music because of it, that's why Queen's albums have been riding high in the charts, that's why this happened after the movie - http://ultimateclassicrock.com/bohemian-rhapsody-queen-music-sales/

Now some of them might just end up casual fans who only know the songs from the movie or the greatest hits album but for now they're excited to see QAL and according to people at the shows they're singing along and loving it so I can't see anything wrong with that.

Despite some of the comments on these boards you don't have to know everything from Polar Bear to Mother Love to be a fan and it really doesn't matter if you know the life story of every member to be a fan either, some people just love the music.

I'd say that they had a different dynamic with Freddie than with Adam, they were all equals recording music together and then going out touring Album/tour for years, stressful and they've admitted they fought, Brian say's he and Roger have always fought like brothers but they loved each other as well and it was the push/pull that made magic in the studio despite being hard at times.

Fast forward to QAL and it's a different thing, they aren't a band trying to make it and all have input into which song should go on an album or who wrote what bit etc, the ego's have gone and they just genuinely love playing together. Adam's a completely different personality type to Freddie as well. I think they have brilliant chemistry together but it's a different chemistry and you can see it's evolved over the last seven years.

Adam hasn't lost three deals, he left RCA for valid reasons and presumably left Warner (he hasn't gone into detail about that one yet), that's two deals and I don't blame him, he isn't a fit for that type of label, they want to be too controlling and while he had no choice at the beginning he has enough money now to give him options. He'll have his own way about things and it may work or it may not but when that's your personality it's hard to toe the line forever and let people make decisions for you. What happens eventually remains to be seen but IMO that's a separate thing, this is about QAL and what they're doing together, what he does away from them shouldn't matter, that's for him to worry about.
