UPDATED: Due to criticism in the past, I've removed the full version of Earth from the file.

This is the hour show but I've cut out all the songs played to avoid copyright.

It's an MP3 320kbps file because BBC Sounds App content are in that format and if I converted it to a lossless file, it would be fake!

Length: 19:43
Size: 45.1 MB

Thanks for the share. Do you remember what time Earth is at? I want to see how it compares to the Ghost of a Smile CD.

It's 10:26 to 13:53 to hear the song without narration from Brian but the song is played in the background before and after those timings.

Earth was never officially released? I must have dreamed the flopped single then.

Well it was, but it hasn't been officially released since. To get a copy of that original single is extremely tricky.

You're right about that. Very glad I found the Ghost of a Smile cd in a local record shop in the late 90's

Both the Gettin' Smile LP (1982) and Ghost Of A Smile CD (1997) are official releases, as confirmed by both Brian and Tim.

Besides these two and the original promo 7" (and numerous test pressing), the song was also officially available in a couple of transcription discs from Radio Today's series Rarities.

How rare are Gettin Smile and Ghost Of A Smile?
