Seriously, what the hell is going on.It started all so well with the Rainbow release,Hammersmith was ok,News Of The World OK ,but several chances have been there to release what the real Queen fans want. These are the fans, who have been there from day one, spending their hard earned cash in purchasing every release from their heroes.Since Freddie died, the output from Queen productions, has almost been the square root of zero.Who sanctions,or more importantly vetos the ideas that are put forward for the years release.OK I can sort of see the point of why Hyde Park and Earls court have not been released in full,But this year, the 40th anniversary of Live killers, was a perfect chance to put this right. It has been stated previously, that the band hated Live Killers when it was released, but now has been the perfect opportunity to re mix it and put it right. Now,as a Queen fan of many years,I am almost giving up the hope of a career anthology.Brian and Roger just want to spend time out on the road, instead of listening of what fans want.

The live Killers replacement will almost cetainly be at least a full show from the tour. Probably Paris 79. The original album is far too much of a hodge-podge of multiple shows and overdubs to attempt to re-create a better mix. I think the band and fans would much prefer a full show released!

Exactly this - a remix from the multitracks when those mutlitracks are from numerous different shows would be nigh on impossible. It actually goes to show what a great job was done at the time to produce something that resembled a single full gig!

(Long) Time ago i bought my last Queen item and i decided no to buy anything else, it was Queen On Fire DVD. I just though, OK this is the very first release in long time that is not trying to rip us off. Those days a lot of crap was released...Queen Rock, GH3, dissapointings GVH1&2, Queen + Five, etc etc
Having tons of stuff in the vaults they prefer to release the same things again and again. (yes, after Queen on Fire some interesting things were released too but not enough for me to continue buying things).

These days i have to say that i´m very happy that time ago i sold all my Queen and solo collection. I listen to a lot Queen and solo stuff but about collecting...Not for me anymore...

Whatever they do to LK, I hope they don't get the person involved with naming 'Never Boring' involved.

I think that I will not say anything new, and many would agree with me that this year it would be more appropriate to release the Live Killers than a reworked solo collection.
I have nothing against Mr. Mercury's solo works, but let's be honest.
It is very unlikely that they, after 19 years since release of the original solo collection, found something truly unheard of by us.

"Mr. Mercury" would be much clearer than "Never Boring". What do you think?

...which then turns out to be a commonly available publicity shot of Demis Roussos, although Greg Brooks maintains that the description is fully accurate.
