Forget Queen. We won’t get what we want. These anthologies are shelved for ages . A lousy Ballet DVD. QP Wankers...

Focused on new Pink Floyd ??.

Just great!

On 29 November 2019, Pink Floyd Records will release 'The Later Years', an 18-disc set (5xCDs, 6xBlu-Rays, 5xDVDs, 2x7" plus exclusive photo book and memorabilia) covering the material created by David Gilmour, Nick Mason and Richard Wright from 1987 onwards. The period included three studio albums: ‘A Momentary Lapse of Reason’, ‘The Division Bell’ and ‘The Endless River’ as well as two live albums: ‘Delicate Sound of Thunder’ and ‘Pulse’. With additional production from David Gilmour and Andy Jackson, over 13 hours of unreleased audio and audiovisual material, including the sought-after 1989 Venice and 1990 Knebworth concerts, and much more, 'The Later Years' is a must for all fans.

YUp Queen have to be the band with the most famous archivist but the lamest reissues of backcatalogues ever. 40th anniversary of Live Killers and NOTHING NADA ZERO. Tough times for hardcore fans.

That early Floyd box was the absolute nuts. Not so sure on this later one but still yeah they seem to be enjoying clearing out the vaults for their fans.

Yes. The early Pink Floyd box was stunning. Recently purchased the Beatles Abbey Road Deluxe format. Absolute Amazing.

This coming Pink Floyd is great too, but I expect less sales because there's no Roger Waters.

"Let's bring Ballet to the masses". You do can whatever you want with my legacy, but never make me boring. I think Beach did not understood quite what Freddie meant with that quote.

Damn…. 13 hours of unreleased audio. This is gonna be great.

It's weird that it had things on it that had been on bootleg for years - decades even that it did feel like there would be a point in time that if they were released there would be a shift in the world. It would have huge far reaching consequences. Then it came out and the world was largely unchanged and now we're looking back and thinking 'yeah that was good'. Weird isn't it.

I guess like Queen's Sleeping On The Sidewalk live and FFMS live. They came out and life went on.

Sorry I think I'm having an existential crisis.

You know I strongly doubt that Freddie could say this quote.

That Pink Floyd thing is well over four hundred quid! If you add up the cost of all the DVDs, CDs and Blu-rays individually, that would only come to about £240, so you're paying over two hundred quid for the box and some bits and pieces that most people would really only look at once. I love Pink Floyd, and I would love to have all the material included in this, but to me, it's vastly overpriced.

Pink Floyd must have consulted with Jim Beach regarding pricing.
