@Supersonic Man """Also, I think it interesting how in the film, which they're happy to go on about all the fucking time, they make out the Mr. Bad Guy era was terrible and how creatively stumped Freddie was at the time... but now when they're trying to make some dollar, they're trying to say it's most fantastic solo album since sliced bread. """"

This +1

Love Kills ? Did they also remix it or we will get the original version (and not the "ballad" one redone by Brian and Roger) ?

The Freddie Mercury version of Live at Wembley, Special-Remix-New-You Beaut-Fab-Remastered-........ piece of shite. Oh, "and Freddie would have loved it!"

I don't understand why 'She Blows Hot & Cold' is on the compilation (of singles) but the original (and far superior) version of Time isn't. Does this mean that when you put out a new version of a song history is wiped entirely?

Freddie: One solo album, one duet/collaboration album, and a couple of one off singles.....they do like miking those cash teats dry don't they!

Never gonna buy this BORING boxset...

The only good thing about Boring box set is that it is also a la carte. Still a remix is not enough reason to buy for me.

Hopefully QPL will release the next Queen box set a la carte. I never purchased the NotW box set as it is overpriced at $145 (given that it only has one worthwhile disk).

According to this:

http://ultimateclassicrock.com/freddie-mercury-never-boring-box-set/

the BLURAY and DVD include the now cherished (on QZ) DAVE CLARK "TIME " INTERVIEW: and as follows:

'Never Boring' (Blu-ray and DVD)
‘Made In Heaven’
‘The Great Pretender’
‘Living On My Own’
‘Barcelona’
‘I Was Born To Love You’
‘Time Waits For No One’
‘In My Defence’
‘Living On My Own’ (Radio Mix)
‘The Golden Boy’ (La Nit performance, Barcelona)
‘How Can I Go On’ (La Nit performance, Barcelona)
‘Barcelona’ (La Nit performance, Barcelona)
Bonus Videos
Freddie Mercury & Dave Clark “Time” Interview
‘The Great Pretender’ (Extended Version)
‘Barcelona’ (Ku Klub performance, Ibiza)

I'm glad they've done the smart thing and simply done DUAL FORMATS instead of independent releases of DVD BLURAY

of course, this'll lead to some schmoes selling either the BR or DVD on ebay alone, but that happens with everything.

STILL,... the BARCELONA "special edition" is a blight on this set.

If either is to be forgotten it should be this one... not the artist's intent with Mike Moran.

New video...not my cup of tea, too sentimental, too obvious, the colours, animation...meh... the whole thing looks dated & the fact that the song is from 1985 doen't mean the video should be so dull.

On the bright side - LMLTNT mix is finally good, sounds solid. the bass is readable, the lead drum normaly equilized & every kick doesnt' bring pain to my ears, the voice is not over reverberated. The whole picture is natural, finally, i can feel there were musicians in the studio with Freddie.
Clean & simple. This job can bring back to life many of "mr. bad guy's" tracks.
Did they really need all these years to make it right?

MBG remixed, videos restored... Gonna like this release, if they fixed the error at the end of LJ - so most likely not.

on the dvd/bluray we will miss the original Time videoclip. And, of course, that interview with dave clark and fred will be the 'short version' that they upload to youtube a couple of weeks ago... and of course, the barcelona videos will have the 2012 audio versions...
I don't know... 1 hour of material on a Bluray disc.... really?

You guys have to remember that Dave Clark owns the rights to “Time” and “In My Defence,” and Jim Beach or QPL can’t just do anything they want with those songs or their videos. Anything to do with those HAS to go through Dave Clark first.
