October sees the new release of a new Freddie Mercury box set "Never Boring" which includes three discs.
Mr Bad Guy (Special Edition) Barcelona (Special Edition) and there is a Dvd/Blu Ray disc all for around £77.00
Is it money for old rope yet again what is your thoughts ?

This web site as a whole is still Queen related and while i apologise for posting in the part it makes no difference as it should be all Queen on here.

gen or serious discussion unless it specifically has to do with a Queen + AL related activity. - would be more sensible. FM and JD topics have nothing to do with Queen + AL as neither of them subscribed to any Queen + AL activities. the box set is an FM set. One can argue that it relates to Queen such that FM was a member of Queen. One may also argue that both BM and RT have some limited contributions, however, they were contributed prior to their involvement w the Queen + AL venture they are currently pursuing. I agree w his holiness.

It isn't a problem for me. Freddie was a huge part of the group and he can certainly be the focus here. I bet not one Adam fan would even think about that as a problem, but if something pertaining to Adam was in a Queen only thread (heaven forbid!), the thunder would start raining down.

Lamebird will soon disappaer and so will the QAL section on here. This will be a sad footnote in history, a lame tribute effort. Queen will always be remembered from 1971-1991. End of discussion. And Mylor will soon say "What the hell were we thinking" when they look back on this sad chapter of their career.

Trouble is Brian and Roger have become idol creatively and just want to play past music from the Queen back catalogue, they have dried up
and cannot be arsed to make new music anymore. Truth is they are lost without Freddie & John.

actually i don't feel the need to hear them unless anybody could convince me they're a massive upgrade.

How can you be positive about something that destroys a legend. And this "someTHING" is tool Lamebert.
Look at Floyd or Zeppelin. They never tarnished their legacy by hiring a trash pop crooner. And they release high quality archive releases.
Queen fans get QAL, puzzles and lame Solo boxsets. See the difference?

TO be fair - the MBG remixes obviously are interesting - LMLTNT sounds good. But is this the way Freddie wanted it to sound? I guess not

Erm, it was actually you had a hissy fit when Freddie was mentioned in Q+AL threads. You pretty much said Freddie was then, and this Q+AL is now.
