@Donovan. Absolutely spot on.

I was lucky enough to see Queen with Freddie many times, I was at the tribute concert and I've seen QPR and QAL a few times too.

Personally i think anyone who really loves Queen but hasn't taken up the opportunity to see Brian and Roger go back on the road in the twilight of their lives have deprived themselves. Especially when I read it from people who never saw the band live.

Criticizing you tube videos is not the same as being there.

Fair enough if someone went and hated it, but even then, to suggest it can ruin Queens legacy is ridiculous.
Those records will live forever. Freddie will be remembered as long as Rock music is remembered.

I'm not trying to change minds, Lord knows that doesn't happen on here, but to think or accuse someone of not being a true fan, just because they happen to like more segments of that bands career than you do is borderline madness. (You cant be a true fan, you like that stuff my favourite band did)

Personally I enjoyed the Adam shows I saw. He's definitely a better singer now than he was when he first gigged with them.
Would I buy an Adam Lambert solo record? Probably not. Would I see a solo show? Nope.
Am I glad Brian and Roger found someone they wanted to work with? Abso bloody lutely.

PS Hot Space was shit. Side 2 of Flash Gordon ranks up there with the best side of vinyl the band ever did.
Queen 2 is a masterpiece, Races is better than Opera. The Miracle is their 2nd worst album.
These are my current beliefs, that have changed over the years, they may change again.
People will agree or likely disagree, one of us are right, it's all opinion.

We can have different opinions and still be fans.

I really hate how every topic turns into this. I shouldn't press send.

Please know for some reason/she some of us couldn't go to see Q+AL, Q+PR or even Queen. Some people have made the choice not to go see Q+AL, Q+PR. That doesn't make them any less of a Queen fan, not saying that is what you are saying in your post.
How ugly it can get it was said by a poster that Queen fans wanted Brian, Roger and John to die with Freddie. No Queen fan would say that shit. It was a Glambert letting her hate about Queen fans show.

You know, Icy, she probably read that somewhere on the internet and I am sure some idiot probably said something stupid like that. I doubt she made it up since she likes to bring over remarks others make. I don't know why it is such a huge deal for you. She read it, she repeated it. So what? For me there is a lot of erroneous crap posted here that I am sure will wind up elsewhere. That is the nature of the internet.

What comment, the crown and cape at Live Aid or that she said Queen fans wanted Brian Roger and John to die along with Freddie...because if the latter...
No, she dug her heels in about it earlier today. You have no problem with the bullshit and absolute hate she has, not only for me, but every Queen fan now. She's the hateful idiot. You can try to defend defend her all you want, but it just makes you look as bad as she is.

If it's her comments about Live Aid, she couldn't take a minute before spouting her ills hit about Freddie wearing the Cape and crown during it. Pure lazines s
How do you even try to defend her bullshit, snifflese? Has she suddenly lost the way to post? Must you always defend and post for her, trying to excuse her. Sure seems like it.
Without a doubt you both forget where you actually post at here.

Unbelievable to say " most people dont worry about the departed singer" when it comes to Freddie, one of the biggest icons if not THE biggest Rock icon ever. Millions were Celebrating his birthday yesterday and this crackbitch is saying "most ppl dont care"?????
Comparing QAL with iron maiden is a joke as well. For many Bruce is THE voice of Maiden and they recorded their biggest Classics with him. The first two albums with Paul were not huge.
What did QAL record with Lameturd again? ? I have forgotten enlighten me.
I assume you know as much about Maiden like you know about Queen you self called expert. Do us a favour and remove yourself from this QUEEN site
True that ,so tired of this Al thing and I never comment about this shit.

Couldn't agree more, nothing they do will affect their legacy and IMO any fan of the band as a whole and not just Freddie would be happy for them regardless if it's your own personal cup of tea or not. They're out there having fun, the fans who enjoy the shows of which there are clearly loads are having fun, their music is reaching new people all the time so what's not to be happy about.

@Rockchic There is such a thing as May & Taylor embarrassing themselves but not realising it yet.
Queen started of as one of the hardest rock bands in the 70s, and just look at the state of them now, soft and as mushy as a tin of mushy peas with a singer that had never been on a stadium gig ever
no experience and just a lucky guy to get picked up by Brian who made a terrible mistake just like he has working with tasteless artists, Five & Dappy. May is a desperate man and he could not care less who takes lead vocals in Queen now because he knows it really will be time to shut shop for him because his health is not very good these days and he cannot be running all over the globe forever. Queen has been really embarrassing since 2012 May & Taylor have turned idol as they have not been creative since recording "No one but you" with John Deacon.

Agree with Donovan 100%

As usual Miracle you're talking crap, there is nothing wrong with Brian's health. Actually post a link to where you read it prove me wrong. The only thing you can point to is Brian's on going issues with he has openly discussed and which he has live with for years.

You seem to have a problem with enjoyment, the fact the band and audiences are enjoying the shows. Is your life really that shit that all you can do is talk about something you don't like?

At 72 Brian is doing more and achieving more than you.

The amusing thing about this is that half of Queen Zone agree with you that Lambert isn't the right person. The thing is you've been so childish in your attempts to discredit the band and Lambert and the people who are fans of this line up very few will actually show any support to your stupid arguments. There I a limit to the number of times a one trick can command attention and keep role interested. You past that point long ago, why don't you "shut shop" as you put it

No one will buy this, only the new fans that are fan since the movie :)
You kinda contradicted yourself there. They picked up a hell of a lot of new fans with the movie.
