But it is not up to Greg to release these things. I'm sure he has no say in it at all. Does Greg get consulted as to what is available to be restored and released out of the vaults? I guess he would if he knows the contents well but only Greg can answer that.

I'm sure those involved know what the real fans want because it's talked about on forums all over the net. Why they don't release it who knows? But attacking Greg probably doesn't help. Has anyone ever asked him if he's ever approached those with the power regarding releasing some of this stuff?

At least he can bring it up to the management I think.

Do you really think that Jim, Brian and Roger include Greg in these kind of decision meetings?
He can maybe hint something but I don't think he has a say in anything.

And that is also my point: stop bashing this man even though you don't agree on the choices of releases.

Be grateful that you are able to have direct contact with somebody from Queen Productions that can give you valuable information. Bashing someone will for sure not help.

And another thing; we can moan as much as we want why Hyde Park or Houston 77 hasn't been released but look at all the beautiful restored content we got? You take it for granted but it is something extraordinary that Queen is putting so much love into their legacy. And yes, there might be bands that release more, but there are MANY bands that release much less or anything at all.

Look at a band like Aerosmith for example. Whether you like them or not, they have a huge legacy and yet they haven't released anything from the 70's or 80's since 1991. And we all know how long ago 1991 is.

Just think about that.

Nothing released.

And as Sweet Caroline nicely summed up, there are many releases from Queen that are of extreme value, even Wembley 1986.

He is NOT "from" Queen Productions. He's employed as a consultant and then used and discarded just like any other contractor. They have no loyalty to him in exactly the same way he has no loyalty to Queenzone or Queen fans themselves. He's the help........

He's been incredibly clever in manoeuvring his way in to the set up from the start in order to create his own collection. Many of us would have done exactly the same thing, don't get me wrong, but I'm sure we'd have been a little less bolshy and visible in doing so.
