Why do you think two great musicians like Brian and Roger are so thrilled to perform over 200 shows worldwide with a guy like Adam if he wasn’t a special vocalist able to handle anything in their iconic Queen catalog?
You might not like his tone because it isn’t exactly like Freddie’s but Adam is a dependable, professional musician who can handle the rigors of back to back shows and has the temperament to cope with whatever comes along the way! He wouldn’t have made it past that first show in Kiev if he didn’t have the right attitude, charisma, sense of humor. His voice is NOT grating. In fact some people complain that it is too smooth for rock n roll. I have always considered him a chameleon who can perform any genre of music just like they have said about Freddie. Both Freddie
and Adam have sung opera as well as rock! How many singers can do that?
Hey, we can’t have Freddie so I believe Ada
is the next best thing!
And here ya go, bigging him up and promoting him again. Ta da.
Oh hey everyone we can't have Freddie so you believe AL is the next best thing, says SweetCaroline without a care. And you say that on Queen boards to gloat.
AL hasn't even tried to sing the full back catalogue of Queen's music that I'm aware of. Do you know if AL tried to sing every Queen song, or are you just hyping him up. Of course, you are just hyping him up.
Boy, you still like comparing Freddie to AL and vice versa, by the way, AL isn't even close to being like Freddie. Freddie had a much varied carrer than AL cold ever hope to have, to be blunt.
AL hasn't tried to sing every genre as far as I know. He is pretty much known for the covers that he sings that doesn't not mean he can sing everything genre.
Who are you comparing AL to here, some of us know your taste in music is hardly varied at all. I think you listen to AL and Q+AL and that's your scope of liking music.
